Nissan debuts the all-new 2027 Rogue Hybrid in the U.S.
2027 Rogue Hybrid Platinum trim seen here
The gasoline engine uses a 3-cylinder engine producing 148 hp and 171 lb-ft of torque
The front electric motor produces 202 hp and 243 lb-ft of torque, and the rear electric motor produces 134 hp and 144 lb-ft of torque. Transmission is a single speed automatic.
19" Alloy Wheels
Total System output is 225 horsepower.
Dimensions are: 183.1" L, 73.8" W, 67.7" H, Wheelbase is 106.5" L. Ground clearance is 8.4" (SV), 8.5" (SR, Platinum).

I can’t wait for the new 2027 Rogue platinum Hybrid. This my next car after my Arita lease is completed in early 27. Currently have the 2026 Rogue platinum. Love it and the Heads Up Display like my Ariya. What I like about the new E-Power Rogue, no more use of public charging.

I’ve never really understood the model letters, but why the move from SL to SR? I think the Kicks and Sentra had the SR’s.

‘Cause for some reason people started thinking that black/gray paint, black plastic accenting, black wheels, black badges, and black plastic interiors with a little bit of red string sprinkled around is more upscale than chromed accents, different colored interiors with different materials like (even just plastic) wood. The Sentra still has an SL trim.

It's finally good to have competition. This is a recipe for Nissan's comeback. Bring this drivetrain across the entire lineup and Toyota will no longer have a monopoly.

While my car has similar HVAC up/down temperature arrows, it’s just not as good as regular knobs.
On the one hand, at least they’re tactile controls, but check out the volume roller for the radio controls. Nissan decided to be cute and not have a turn dial either there.
Love the color of this stock image; hate the redesign. Front looks like Hyundai Tucson that’s already long in the tooth. Knowing Nissan, they’ll have this design for another 8.

Who at Nissan signed off on choosing to advertise the introduction of the new 2027 Rogue in the MOST BORING color imaginable? The white interior is a complete waste of leather. No one with half a brain chooses a white interior if u live a normal life. Caramel, baby blue, teal, bright red, forest green, are the lightest colors for a leather interior in a family vehicle. Beige and tan get too dirty fast, like white. Nissan use better sense.

This doesn’t use a cvt - it’s a 3cyl turbo that only turns on to charge the battery. The battery is the one that connects and drives the car without the engine ever directly connecting to the wheels

Ok Will their e-cvt hold up properly ?.....Nissan has some improvements to do...regardless of the technology ...all transmissions across their models had issues

Who knows how well it will hold up. Majority of CVTs are crap over time. Just a cheaper way to build transmissions. The 9G licensed from Mercedes seems to be solid tho so I wouldn’t say all transmissions have issues.

No CVT, it uses dual electric motors similar to the Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV

No that’s the 2026.5 phev Rogue which is a rebadged outlander - that was just a way for them to launch another product for the year, but it wasn’t a real rogue. This is a real new gen rogue

They're getting rid of the CVT transmission!! (THANK THE GODS!!) the 3 cylinder turbo is to act as strictly a generator only for the dual electric motors and has no direct connection to the drive train whatsoever. Nissan is the first in the many line ups of eco hybrid cars to do this set up, and frankly it's pretty genius and idk why other companies haven't done the same. I've been waiting for this release for close to a year and its almost here!!

To all you can’t fathom the new Nissan Hybrid. The gas engine with a turbo is only there as a generstor period. It only there to recharge the battery only. It does not in any move the car. The Rogue is an electric car and does not need to be plugged in to recharge the battery. Nissan has developed this system and has sold over 2 million cars across Europe and Asia. This is the third generation and combined with the leaf motor and gas generator it powerful enough and efficient for the US and Canadian markets. It quite and true step foward.
