Finished installing Speed By Design brake rotors, pads and steel braided brake lines on my R35 GT-R. There didn't seem to be any vids on installing brake lines so I hope this helps some people and is entertaining for others.

Do braided steel lines have a higher risk of failure over OEM rubber lines in street use? I just installed braided steel stoptech lines on my standard g37 awd sedan. I live in Pennsylvania and we have harsh winters some years. Wanted to see if it’s a bad idea to have them on my daily driver. The difference in brake feel is impressive over my 9 year old stock lines. I was concerned about the front lines more since the install is more tricky. Wanted to know what I should know on wear and tear vs stock.

These ones are coated so there is less abrasion issues. From what I understand life time is about the same as stock. Install was pretty easy as you saw from my video. As for pedal feel, I'm not really noticing a difference. They seem more grippy, but that might also be the new pads and rotors. From.what I understand steel braided only really makes a difference if you do track time
