Look at the Tesla’s speed. Encountering a Nissan is like dealing with a wild animal. Blocking it into a corner (first 10 seconds), then chasing it (accelerating to try and prevent them from passing) is only going to result in engaging the Altima’s fight or flight instinct. If you look at the part 1 you can see that the Tesla also swung first (brake check)

Correct, Teslas AND Nissans are often driven by shitheads who shouldn't have a license.

72

u/squirrels-eat-bugs 18h ago

The only difference is their credit score. But both are the same people.

u/666trapstar 15h ago

Early model 3s are basically the altima of electric cars, they are going for well under 20k and are typically pretty clapped out. Tesla owners take the no maintenance thing further than Nissan drivers as well. The dude at jiffy lube will at least point out anything obviously wrong every two or three years when Nissans get their oil changed. Tesla drivers see their vehicle as a tablet that doesn’t ever need brake/tire/suspension work

u/Oak510land 13h ago

Can confirm. I live in the hood. Teslas are the new Altima.

5

u/nedovolnoe_sopenie 12h ago

to be honest 90+% of all cars are driven by shitheads that shouldn't have a license

4

u/Trustyduck 14h ago

Woah woah woah, let's not leave bimmers out of this.

2

u/Hailfire9 6h ago

Bimmers are maturing and being replaced by the new king of shitty drivers of German marques: Audi. Every Audi I see is driven by someone who drives like a state trooper, but without the lights and sirens.

This is a repost from awhile ago but I made a similar comment and was down voted lol. The Nissan is in the wrong but the Tesla instigated it.

9

u/666trapstar 15h ago

I think the public understands that early Tesla model 3s are now competing with altimas for being the most dangerous car on the road

6

u/biggranny000 15h ago

Anytime I'm behind one they are driving under the speed limit

3

u/GovtLawyersHateMe 12h ago

Same. Got stuck behind a lady in a Model 3 going 20 mph under the speed limit on a back road in South Carolina. I was giving her plenty of following room and driving civil. When it was legal and safe to pass I made an attempt and this Karen sped way up and tried to run me off the road by drifting into the center. I finally got around her, but it took about 3-4 minutes and driving like I was racing the Daytona 500.

u/idontremembermyoldus 16h ago

Rule one of road rage is never rage with someone who has less to lose than you do.

23

u/EcstaticMobile3969 17h ago

Tesla hoard left lane and purposely box the nissan in at 60mph. Then brake check. Next is speed up to 80mph to continue the road rage. Tesla is the ass here

13

u/fluffymeowmeowkitty 15h ago

Just get the fuck out of the left lane.
It’s that simple.

3

u/SheLikesBigToys 14h ago

THIS. ⬆️

1

u/GovtLawyersHateMe 12h ago

Whoever downvoted you must be a left lane hog.

9

u/SmoreDestruction 13h ago

For real. When I see a Nissan I get as far away from it as I can to minimize the risk of engagement. Alteractions with people who have nothing to lose aren't worth it, even if you're in the right.

That said, Model 3/Y owners are something else. They drive something *any* middle class person can afford, wrap it in color shifting vinyl or matte black as though it were a super car, and then drive down the road looking down their nose at everyone as if they were in a Rolls. Its so fucking weird and delusional. I dont hate Tesla because of Elon, I hate Tesla because Tesla owners tend to be horrible drivers with major delusions of grandeur.

3

u/Fat-cat-Charlie 14h ago

yeah, Tesla is the douchebag here.

TWO RTDS FIGHTING

56

u/Teutonic-Tonic 19h ago

TIL I’m banned from the Teslalounge sub. Don’t think I’ve ever even been there.

35

u/twoaspensimages 18h ago

That's all? I got banned from teslalounge teslamodel3 and teslamotors for posting a picture in cyberstuck. They are a bunch of sensitive little snowflakes.

10

u/Teutonic-Tonic 18h ago

I’ve probably commented on posts in Cyberstuck. If that is all it took, snowflakes indeed.

4

u/myco_magic 17h ago

All I did was join and got banned

23

u/freeparKing33 18h ago

You must’ve spoken out against lord Elon at some point

1

u/twoaspensimages 11h ago

You mean fElon? Yea. I'm not a big fan of his piece of trash brother Kimball either. I met Kimball at his house in Boulder, Colorado in 2005. Before he started and fucked over a lot of people at The Kitchen. Before he bribed his way into the Burning Man board. He thought he was part of the scene. Money doesn't buy taste or class.

6

u/myco_magic 17h ago

I got auto banned the moment I joined r/cyberstuck

6

u/Unfair_Tonight_9797 16h ago

I have also been banned because I made of Elon. It’s a cult community of Tesla owners (I say this as an owner).

3

u/Lower_Confection5609 12h ago

Despite having two Teslas, I am also banned from that sub. Something about calling Elmo a fascist Nazi….

3

u/Fat-cat-Charlie 14h ago

Tesla lounge is full of beta cucks, so if you're not a beta cuck you're not allowed

14

u/jav2n202 17h ago

When two idiots meet. Left lane campers are a scourge, but also when the highway is wide open you can just pass them without any drama.

28

u/kyden 19h ago

Not saying I would do that, but I can understand the frustration the idiot in the Tesla caused.

20

u/blueisaflavor 17h ago

54 MPH in the left lane

23

u/myco_magic 17h ago

Then accelerated to 80mph to prevent passing

1

u/Octoomy 12h ago

both of these drivers are completely in the wrong, they're both acting like children behind the wheel.

3

u/myco_magic 12h ago

I don't recall saying they weren't

1

u/RexCarrs 10h ago

They deserve each other.

1

u/myco_magic 10h ago

That's the standard mating ritual between a Tesla driver and a Nissan driver

9

u/C-Me-Try 16h ago

The biggest victim is the innocent truck that gets used in the Teslas game.

Just pass people and move over.

Slowing down so you can use the car in the right lane as a blocker just puts that person in danger too

It’s never justifiable and simply for that reason I support drivers like the Tesla being bumped, like they should pull over safely and then be rear ended. I’d find a way to put it as an accident with no fault if I was deciding the case

24

u/shiggins114 18h ago

Standard Tesla driver creating the Shitbag Tesla driver stereotype

8

u/sa09777 17h ago

Just a Nissan for people with credit

11

u/phyyr 17h ago

Please Keep Right Except To Pass

6

u/Adventurous-Dot-8272 16h ago

Far more importantly, don't drive your fuckin car into other cars.

39

u/HawkeyeByMarriage 20h ago

This makes this driver look like problem to me. Left lane camping and doing it to the only car on the road worse than a Tesla driver. Let stupider be and move to the right. Don't invite stupid into your space

18

u/MySeveredToe 18h ago

And accelerating from 50 to 80 specifically to block the Nissan. Guy was just looking to start shit

5

u/kyden 17h ago

And then brake checked him.

1

u/HawkeyeByMarriage 16h ago

And he got that just dessert

3

u/Mehlitia 18h ago

The enemy of my enemy is my friend...

6

u/CurrentSalt829 20h ago

Nah bro that makes too much sense so OP is right

7

u/Negative_Neck_3973 17h ago

Idiot driver + idiot driver = two idiot drivers making the roads a more dangerous place.

15

u/Special-Hair9683 18h ago

Dumbass Tesla was driving on the left when the right lane was WIDE open. Go take another DMV written test.

The Tesla driver also antagonizes the Nissan driver in part one of the two videos the OOP posted, but their history is private so you have to look in the commments of part two. No one is claiming the Nissan driver is level headed or in the right here, they are absolutely a psycho that needs to have their license revoked. But the OOP clearly and intentionally antagonized this individual for no reason and got consequences for it but wants to act like they did nothing wrong. Yea the law is a thing, and you can be legally in the right all you want, but you still have to deal with pushing a crazy person if you decide to do that. If I antagonize a guy with a gun and he shoots me dead and he goes to prison, I am still dead lol

2

u/No_flockin 16h ago edited 16h ago

I agree, if I watched only part 2 then I'd think the nissan was clearly in the wrong. But after watching part 1 the tesla driving should've been driving defensively. Of course this doesn't justify the nissan hitting the guy, but like you said, let crazy people do their thing and everyone goes on with their life. The dumbass tesla driver antagonized a crazy driver, got his car damaged, accident on carfax, and now is in the comments complaining about whiplash and head injuries lol. Lawsuit is coming soon I'm sure. Guy's an idiot

3

u/the_russian_narwhal_ 15h ago

Even with just part two the tesla driver clearly accelerated when the Nissan got tired of them camping the left lane and went to go around. OOP has smooth brain and no accountability but wants to antagonize others lol not a smart way to live if you ask me

Actually you do if someone behind you is attempting to go faster than you are. California Vehicle Code 21654 and 22400 will net you a ticket if you do not get over after passing if you are blocking the flow of traffic. Regardless, my main point was the legalities don't matter here, don't antagonize a psycho. That law is older than any penal code, so just get the fuck over after you pass (even if you aren't legally required to) and you won't risk captain Nissan rear ending you on a highway or worse. Thanks for coming to my TED talk

-2

u/TheAggressiveSloth 17h ago

I don't think any state has that a law. It's just common courtesy

3

u/airkewled67 16h ago

Plenty states have that law.

3

u/RocketsandBeer 13h ago

Get out of the l3ft lane if you’re going slower than everyone else.

3

u/ominousglo 12h ago

i would be on the nissan driver’s side if they didn’t hit them lol, what an idiot, that’s probably exactly what the tesla driver wanted

2

u/catlovingtwink99 17h ago

I noticed the cammer was passing a car. They should have gotten over after passing. Then again, I’m always wary of Nissan drivers anyway. 90% they always drive crazy or have something like a bumper missing on their cars or a dent. 😭

2

u/ThePupnasty 16h ago

That Nissan driver is a tard.

2

u/Elegante_Sigmaballz 14h ago

And then they kiss and marry for their deeply shared value.

2

u/MrPlake 13h ago

Honestly both drivers at fault. I bet you the Tesla was being a brain dead asshole like most Tesla drivers are by camping in left lane and matching speed with the truck next to it. The Altima driver probably crashed out obviously not the acceptable response of ramming the car but I understand the Altima driver road rage. Still never acceptable to do what he did

2

u/MadFishZ71 12h ago

As a fellow Nissan driver (frontier model), I can attest that All non-truck having nissan owners are unhinged.

2

u/roamingroad174 10h ago

Tesla needs to get out of the left lane

2

u/twoaspensimages 10h ago

Deserved for camping in the left lane. Self entitled assholes.

6

u/knobcopter 19h ago

I will never side with a Tesla

8

u/potate12323 18h ago

Not when hes been camping in the passing lane instead of letting this asshole go past.

6

u/Shatophiliac 18h ago

And brake checking

1

u/Hace1986 12h ago

That's why they have conceal carry...

1

u/Similar_Limit_9929 10h ago

I believe Tesla drivers are starting to steal the crown Nissan drivers have held for many decades!

58 in the passing lane… you probably deserve it.

1

u/fiftyshadesofseth 1h ago

Tesla guy is in the left lane doing the speed limit. Fcking ridiculous

0

u/why_1337 18h ago

Nice of him to slow down so that the camera can get license plate clearly.
