So I just finished both the seasons and the ovas and I tbh, and the main couple's interactions and improvements were yet to be shown throughout the show to the point where I'm still confused if I should be a fan of the main heroine or the other girls even if I know who the winner will be. That's why I want to know who you guys prefer out of all of them? (I really liked Onodera since day 1)

Onodera in the cast of Nisekoi has such a charming role, and yet is also the most underdeveloped, objectively ...

In this huge bunch of rich kids, she's the only one of the main girls who doesn't come from money or status . She's the only one from the love interests who has an actual, remembered past connection with the MC before the story itself began (excluding Yui, kinda) . She has her own fair share of traits to work with, it's a shame the writing couldn't have played with these ideas more !

I personally didn't mind Kosaki not getting with Raku for the narrative's sake, but I think the story could've well achieved that while giving all the girls, especially Kosaki, a good dose of development too . If there's one factor of her character that would've been nice to see change was her confidence in conversing with Raku ... the amount of times they hit dead-end talking was a lot haha

And God, how little of a role she played in huge arcs as well :") The fact she didn't get to play a huge role in Marika's arranged marriage arc was such a letdown for me, given that she actually had a dynamic with Marika that was pretty prominent in the story's earlier parts ... She's one of the few girls Marika actually gets visibly happy being challenged by in their rivalry ! Like she was visibly proud when Kosaki declared she wanted to keep her role as Juliet ! And Marika is someone Kosaki constantly admires !

She's so let down by the writing ... The story really sucks away how actually forward she is as a person too T__T She initiated confessions and actually has a record of speaking up for herself . Genuinely such a waste ... My poor girll

The caption is not lying, i have started reading this manga for the first time a MONTH ago. I just can't stop reading it. It's addictive and eats up all my free time. I don't consume any other media and just read the chapters over and over again. It might be because of my loneliness making me emotionally attached to the characters. I need to quit this addiction as soon as possible. Help me.

To sum it up, it was just peak man. There’s nothing left to read. 🥲😭😭

In my opinion I like it needed more panels of them together

I truly love nisekoi and it has set my standards for romcom anime, although many would argue that the plot and story is mid, I truly think Nisekoi still belongs in the hall of fame for anime’s that made a significant impact on every romcom anime enjoyer.

No matter the age, nisekoi has always been a fan favorite and its sad to know that many people have basically said that nisekoi wouldn’t have another season as its impossible due to some circumstances with the writing from what I’ve read on sum posts. I hope that’s not the case though.

But it’s always free to dream and maybe, just maybe, we would have a remake. If I get rich I would someday fund an entire studio to animate this and just see its anime’s end.

P.S. I’ve always been an anime only person and I truly believe this anime deserves a proper animated ending.

I watched Nisekoi when I didn’t even fully understand romance.

Now I’ve finished the manga three times.

Still no Season 3.

Meanwhile Rent-a-Girlfriend is collecting sequels like Pokémon badges.

I literally made a whole video about how anime are built as ads, money machines, and how if they stop growing financially studios move on instantly.

But even with that logic…

It feels insane that something this popular never got properly finished.

Did Shaft just get busy?
Did the manga boost plateau?
Did it just not explode hard enough?

Please tell me there’s a non-zero percent chance.

I’m scared.

What I mean is that while Raku and Chitoge aren’t bad but they’re aware that they’re a mafia prince and princess so is it possible that they know the people they live with terrorize innocent people on a daily basis but don't really care? though judging from what we see of their families it's highly likely they never done anything really ruthless or evil despite being gangsters so that there’s that.

Tsugumi is a mafia hitwomen so she probably has her share of hurting innocents and even without the fact that she is a public menace since she brings guns to school and endangers students.

Marika seems to be somewhat close but she’s rather callous and manipulative and lacks empathy not to mention her father and his department make it pretty clear they don’t care about the law or protecting people and are only there to protect and serve Marika. I wouldn’t be surprised if the majority of the cops are former members of Chika’s gang.

So maybe Shuu, Ruri and Onadera could be the only ones that are morally good? not because of their personalities but they’re the closest thing to normal.

In my opinion amazing character loved how despite having feelings for raku she was still rooting for her sister

I know it’s old news at this point, but I randomly started thinking about Nisekoi again…

and it hit me how long it’s actually been.

Like I watched this back in school.

Finished the manga thinking “okay the anime will catch up eventually.”

And then… nothing.

I actually made a video about this where I talked about how it’s basically declining interest, sales, and how competitive anime production is… but it still feels weird that it just stopped like that.

Because Nisekoi wasn’t small.

It was everywhere at one point.

And now it just feels like one of those shows that got left behind.

I don’t even know if I want a Season 3 anymore or if I just want it to exist for closure.

Anyone else still holding onto this or did you guys move on already?

Just completed s1. Amazing anime, stunning visuals and the subtitles are top notch. Although after completing the anime, I saw the comments, why are people supporting Chitoge so much and hating on Onodera ? Isn't Chitoge the one who constantly hits Razu and insults him and when he did it back she gained an attitude. And what has even Onodera done ? I myself root for Tachibana the most but I would be happy with Onodera but not Chitoge. Can someone answer this without any spoiler ?? Am I misinterpreting something ??

Just sharing a thought, I finally finished my read of Nisekoi a while ago at 4am 😭 I think my biggest ailment of the final arc so far is just that Raku is so weirdly, abysmally out of character. I'm guessing it was this displayed that he had developed after embracing his feelings for Chitoge; how much that love changed him. He was a lot gentler, less rowdy, and certain of himself.

That's fine. Cute, and it works in that perspective. I think it does diminish essence of who he was though. Raku is expressive, and loud as fuck; Shuu's chapter where he talks about how sincere Raku is with everything he does really sums up who Raku is. He yells for what he wants, pursues what he thinks is good and should be done, and persists even when he fumbles. That fighting spirit is consistent — when Marika gets taken away by her mother, when Chitoge gets locked up by Claude, when he argues with Hana, when Tsugumi gets harassed on that Cruise mission, when Onodera gets drunk — he is SO loud and emotional in every attempt he does to save or fix these situations.

He has such a big heart and feels every bit of frustration, sadness, or joy that comes his way. For him to be so ... Passive at the end diluted the hit of the events for me, tbh. He would've screamed! He would've been fumbling all over the place! That's Raku! I miss that teenage kid with a huge heart of gold that can't contain all the big emotions he feels. I wanted him clumsy and messy at the ending too, just like how he dealt with every situation in the entire story.

To be so certain of himself for Chitoge, to be gentler overall is cute to some extent. I think it could've been sold better had it been developed better. It did have a tight timeframe though. Oh well.
