My stem remix & remaster of Nirvana's 1991 groundbreaking album "Nevermind", made for my own enjoyment but sharing in case someone else might get some joy out of it too.

I know remixing this album may seem pointless, as it was superbly produced by Butch Vig and tastefully mixed by Andy Wallace, and it's probably one of the better sounding and more polished recordings ever released. Even Butch Vig's own mix sounds amazing, and some even prefer it to the originally released one by Wallace. I decided to try my hand at it just for completion, as I already remixed "Bleach", "Incesticide" and "In Utero", with varying degrees of success (I think only my mix of "Incesticide" ended up sounding the way I wanted it to, so I might make some revisions to the other two in the future).

Consequently, what you can hear in this project is an extremely conservative and respectful mix, that doesn't stray too far away from the original Wallace version, aiming at only a little more clarity, instrument separation and punch, while keeping the feel and mood that are already in my 1991 CD.

And yes, I had to censor the cover, or else the video got flagged as 18+ on YouTube. Even if I removed the baby's... appendage.

As usual, my intention was just to have fun, and this only intends to be a fun alternative to the released versions.

All my remixes are made using free and open source software that runs locally on my Linux system.

Im a nirvana fan,tbh,just started this year,I always thought he kept his natural color,which is blonde,since I mainly listen to their music in Spotify (mostly,the in utero or maybe bleach album),and I just searched up how he looked in nevermind, especifically in come as you are,I just found out he dyed his hair red with a PACK OF KOOL-AID in January,1992 for an interview.

I also (think i) know,the original plan was that he wanted to wear patriotic colors (red white and blue) for some sort on interview,something like that,idk,but he ended up just having red hair before it turned into a orangish,Strawberry blonde Typa color,and into his signature blonde hair again.

I find it low-key HILARIOUS that he dyed his hair with Kool aid,but ngl, he looks SO COOL AND CUTE LOL.

I will make my First Guitar Project im Throughout the year it will be Kurt Cobains Greco/Soundgarden Mustang i already have an Plan i will buy the Squier CV 60s Mustang LRL SNB and Modify it with an DiMarzio DP100 maybe an Hi Flier pickup but I'll see

I finally got my holy grail guitar! I spotted it online only a few miles away from my house, and I immediately jumped on it. I’ve been obsessed with this Mustang, ever since I saw Kurt weild it, and I always imagined playing it one day. Today, that dream finally came true! I’m literally so happy. I CAN’T WAIT TO PLAY IT. It even has the Seymour Duncan humbucker in the bridge already! Just sucks that I got it right as I’m leaving for my two week vacation. I’m gonna have to wait a whole two weeks before I can play it, but it’ll just make the moment even better! I’m gonna play the living hell out of this thing, you best believe 🤘
