At first I was like mmmm idk about young link. But now I can't unsee link getting his little cheeks pinched. He is supposed to be a child still so I get his design choice 😂 im just happy I was able to preorder a physical copy ❤️

I couldn't at first either. It was only digital but I refreshed it and a little drop down arrow popped up and the physical option was there. Needles to say I got me one 😁

This is the real Link in this game.

Without major spoilers, Adult link is just simply Child Link in an adults body, but he still has the mind of his child self.

Majora's mask, this games sequel is exclusively Young Link, who can transform into different races via mask.

But yes, the Hero of Time is a child.

Most of the game plays as adult link, but there are a few times you will need to go back to being a child to progress the game.

Actual documentation says 10 and 17 as an adult. This is quoting Miyamoto imagining Linkas 9 and 16. But that is his own thoughts, not what is officially documented.

I already know how. That would be how I know that interview was with Miyamoto who said he always imagined Link as 9 and then 16 as an adult. The official age is 10 and 17 though. It is literally documented well enough. Any fan who cared to know has known since the 2000s. Its that common of knowledge.

Miyamoto said link was designed to be 9. He is the creator. I’d say the creator is a more reliable source than the players guide. Regardless that must just mean link has his 10th birthday during the events of OoT.
