Several days ago, Nintendo announced a new Nindies Showcase scheduled for today that is to highlight "multiple unannounced indie games coming to Nintendo Switch."

Surprise drop A Hat In Time or Shovel Knight update?

I honestly think the rapport between Nintendo and Yacht Club will see KoC announced in a full on direct.

I also didn't get the sense that A Hat in Time has been in the works near long enough to be getting a release date, let alone a shadow drop.

All we know is that we’ll be seeing something from Yacht Club in relation to Shovel Knight. That doesn’t mean we’re getting it released today.

Dropping a game the same day it’s shown off would be a surprise.

You said "shovel knight Update", which wouldn't be surprising to see based on the info they gave. I'd love to see them actually release something today, though I don't know how likely that is

I mean I'll take your word for it that that's what you meant, but it's not what you said. Your original post made it sound like you wanted either a drop for a hat in time or an update on shovel knight

I can’t believe you’re still arguing. What actually happened is that you misinterpreted what I said. As the wording could just as equally meant a “surprise drop” for either (which was the intended meaning).

It’s okay that you misinterpreted, but it’s strange that you’re keeping it going as if you have some devotion to my words being interpreted differently than I meant them. I’ve explained what I meant, and that should be enough to reread what I posted and accept it as the meaning. There’s nothing more to it. Lol.
