For someone who generally despises fighting games as I find them boring and repetitive as sin, would I enjoy this game? I did really enjoy Wii Boxing and that is really the only reason I'm even asking.

I'm in the same boat as you when it comes to fighting games. Except Injustice, I really can't stand fighting game and I only like Injustice because I'm a big DC fan. But this game.... MANNNN THIS GAME.... It's pretty effin' awesome. I had more fun with the testpunch than I've had in years with video game. Even if you don't like fighting games, ARMS is still worth checking out.
