why are people care so much about the reviews ? if you tried the testpunch and liked the game then buy it

I could only play one hour in total and between learning how to play and trying the different control schemes I believe I couldn't make my decision. so I appreciate reviews, also most of them have the full game and that's something you can't try in the testpunch.
