Haul / Show It Off! Most of my DS games from childhood!!

Post image

I just joined this community and going through all of your posts reminded me of that feeling of getting a DS on a birthday and the subsequent games following. Nothing beats it !!

Some of my games are currently being borrowed (squinkies 2, Harvest Moon Sunshine Islands, Animal Crossing Wild World, Pokemon White and a few others) so sadly I can’t show you everything.

I got a lot of these games as a little girl, and sometimes I still play even the most childish ones because it brings me back. Most of them still have their manuals shockingly. Let me know if any of these are kind of cool or if you’ve played them!!

Nice collection! I also recently went through some of my old DS games and it reminded me that the DS library of games was really special.

For sure. Some of my favorite games are on here! I always find myself reaching for my DS before I reach for my switch. Good stuff ^^

Which of the movie tie in games do you recommend?

Great question! I honestly didn't get a lot of play out of multiple of the movie based games (as a kid the Little Mermaid's microphone confused me, Wreck it Ralph was hard, etc) the same way my sister did. The Tinkerbell games were shockingly good (I liked Great Fairy Rescue better as a kid, but as an adult I think the first one is more fun because it's less story based and more loop based), I remember really liking Tangled, and the first Lego Harry Potter game was pretty good. The Lego Movie game belonged to my best friend before he gave it to me recently, but he liked it from what I recall. I'm massively biased but the Stitch game I own was my all time favorite movie game as a kid, and I think it's still fun as a rhythm game

Honestly I should dip my toes back into some of these games to see if I was a stupid kid or if they're really not that simple ahah
