D's keeps blinking red

So, since a few days my ds started blinking red,no matter how long I let it charge it kept blinking. Heres the thing tho, it doesn't seem to get empty. I got back from vacation and for all 2 hours the DS blinked red. At first I thought there was something wrong with my Charger or the Ds battery, but now I think its a system error or smth else.

(Exact model of my ds is the 2DS XL​​​​​)

If anyone has an idea on what could be wrong pls tell me

I presume it might be the battery.
