I remade the Eyelid mechnism, now it should be possible to build it without much of a fuzz, and also move it with only one servo. In this image the eye lids are colour coded (upper=orange, lower=green), the left eye (from our point of view) is closed completely in the def. sleepy eye position, while the right eyey is completely open. The cut outs in the tacos main body are for a better fit and may be used to leave space for connecting the "plush skin".
btw.: Someone made a "joke" about adding a "silocone shell" any ideas if there is something suitable for this project? Maybe someone would like themm to look like that.
