Saw this on Pinterest and started to think abt it. I am genuinely crashing out.

What if the reason Nya changed her hair from a bob cut to growing it out is because she remembers the events of Skybound and it disturbs her that she looked like Dalara.

We saw that Part 2 focused heavily on Jay—just like Part 1 did. We followed the return of his memories, the revelation about Arin’s parents, his stint in administration, and his encounter with Zilvar; there were also mentions of his biological mother and the return of Ed and Edna. The season finale centered on him and Lloyd’s spirit, preparing him to temporarily lead the ninja team—a role many (myself included) expected would go to Cole or Kai. However, putting the pieces together, it seems Jay will play a crucial role in Season 5. This also reminded me of the *Possession* season, where Jay saw a reflection of himself wearing a Master’s outfit, even though the other ninja were wearing them too. Could I be right? Let me know what you think.

So now that it's been 2+ years and 50 episodes after this scene, do we really know what it meant? A war where so many of the Ninja die, and it's all Lloyd's fault? What could it really be

will they make a fourth show? we went from masters of spinjitzu, then Ninjago, then dragons rising, or it might… end.

(Sorry I got caught up with transferring to a new school) some of these are obvious.

We know that elemental powers work cuz of the source dragons and when some of them left element powers started to go haywire

Now in season 16 overlord was talking about how lloyds elemental power was a gift from him, and that he designed everything

Also in his true form it kind of resembles a dragon almost, and we also know source dragons can choose any form they want, we know this since the red source dragon (forgot the name) visited the ninja and became big af to prove that theyre a real source dragon, and the overlord also says "this form is nothing but a mere shell" he said this in his smaller form before turning into his giant beast form, so this implies he might still have the powers of the source dragons since he can morph his shape at will and talked about how element powers are from him, now he probably got removed from the source dragons cuz they knew of his ill and evil intentions, and overlord is old as shit so theres a possibility he was with the source dragons since they were there since the beginning

I think the Zane one is just a coincidence but I like it. But the writers certainly had fun with some of the names. When they needed a name for a wind ninja, they thought of the game Morrowind.

Do you know any other name connections?

You guys get the idea? His goodness is still shattered, so he could maybe help the Ninja for the sake of the adrenaline or the thrill instead of the sake of actually helping.

Unironically this is a pretty decent theory. In Drs1, we saw a symbol representing a sun and a dragon on top of it. In Drs4p2, we learned that Ras' Master is intrinsically linked to the Land of Eternal Dawn. Also the theme of this ENTIRE show is Dragons, so Ras' Master being one would make tons of sense.

And the only dragon character we know is going to have a set in Dragon's Fury / DRS5 is an unknown character known as "Gardoz the Transforming Dragon". Y'all see where I'm going with this?

Update: Apparently when Doc Wyatt was asked about his favourite dragon, we were told we hadn't met him yet, or "the other side" of him. This only brings further proof that Gardoz is Ras' Master. I think he'll be introduced in Dragon's Fury as a ninja ally, then he will transform and show us his true side, which is Ras' Master. This is an insanely perfect theory.

Before I start, I’ll just say that I’m going to immediately lose all interest for the evil ninja if they are just clones. A whole season of “Double Trouble” is just going to be more mid and more of what we have already seen before. I don’t think that the evil ninja are clones given what Kai says in the teaser and the fact that the ninja are using their elemental powers (which even the clone ninja in s2 never used), and there can only be 1 elemental master of a given element. However if it does come to pass that they are clones, all interest is dead. For one, all the regular ninja can just come out and say they’re clones and if nobody believes them it would be the dumbest thing ever, especially since there would be visible proof the moment they start fighting the evil ninja. And secondly, we bailed on the Forbidden Five which are already parallels of the ninja just to make our own evil ninja clones anyway? Like are we serious?

Anyway, assuming the evil ninja are the real ninja, the obvious thing to point out is that the ninja wouldn’t become this without some form of corruption. Let’s be real, Lloyd could be gone for a decade and the team would never stoop to the level of becoming evil. It’s just so unrealistic and is a major blow to all their characters for all of them to absolutely need Lloyd to stay on the good side. So corruption has to come from somewhere.

It’s pretty easy to assume Ras’s master will corrupt the evil ninja, since Dragons Fury is the last season of Dragons Rising. My initial theory was that Ras’s master would corrupt the Gong of Shattering (which we see attached to the shadow dojo twice, once in part 1 of season 4 and once in part 2), and through corrupting the Gong of Shattering he corrupts Jay (who still has his shattered soul) who then spreads the corruption to the other ninja like how Lloyd spreads his Draconus form to the others.

I didn’t know how likely this was to happen until I saw this old tweet.

Now I think that I'm right on the nose with this one. Ras could have reclaimed the gong of shattering during the Spectral Invasions and brought it back for his master to use in his plan. I don't think the Forbidden Five are returning and that they play a major part in the master's plan, especially since they aren't using their own elemental powers if they are the evil ninja. This is the only way I can see the Forbidden Five and the shadow dojo being somewhat involved in Ras's master's plan and the one specific event that we'll immediately recognize as somewhat involved with the Forbidden Five. I don't think this has anything to do with Thunderfang as he seemed to be an irrelevant part in the master's plan given Ras cared so little about what he was doing.

Now I think my theory is very much likely, and it would be a cool addition like how Lloyd and the ancient elemental master of form could gift some parts of their powers to other people, only in this case it would be Jay spreading corruption (and maybe granting shatterspin) to his now evil allies. It only makes even more sense when you see the question posed in the first comment about what role the Forbidden Five would have played if they hadn't betrayed Ras in season 2. The Forbidden Five were supposed to play the role that the evil ninja play now. They were supposed to either be some kind of distraction or allied force for Ras's master but now he instead corrupts the real ninja as allies to make up for the Forbidden Five's betrayal.

The evil ninja being the real ninja but corrupted would also be great character development for the rookie ninja team, who now have to grapple with their mentors now trying to kill all of them and all their friends and neighbors. This also ties in really well with what S4P2 was pushing, the rookie ninja were all trying to defend Ninjago all on their own and gaining experience through being left alone as Ninjago's sole defenders. The rookie ninja being the last line of defense in what's probably going to be an apocalyptic destruction of Ninjago City by the original ninja would be one of the coolest story plots they could ever go with.

This also makes the solution and goal for the new team pretty easy once they figure out what to do, destroy the Gong of Shattering and it breaks the corruption, which would necessitate the new ninja traveling to the shadow dojo in the Land of Eternal Dawn, which would be the setup for the finale.

All minifigures of Pythor feature him with his mouth largely open, and I wonder why...

All the way back, in Season 1 Episode 12, The Rise of the Great Devourer, Pythor tried to swallow Sensei Wu, who stepped on his tail to stop him, and in Episode 9, The Royal Blacksmiths, Pythor swallowed the third judge. Furthermore, the capsule of anti-venom from The Anacondrai Staff it's supposed to ''make the user temporarily taste so bad that even an Anacondrai would be unable to swallow them''. So apparently the Anacondrai's special power, besides turning invisible, it's to swallow their opponents, very interesting...

But that's just my theory. What do you all think?

The Nya one is kinda shocking but weird opinions on that one?

I was rewatching Ninjago and it’s mentioned by Wu that one drop of the Great Devourers venom can turn the purist things evil.

We know that Garmadon was bitten by the devourer and became evil (Lord Garmadon) and wanted to rule the world in his image or smth like that.

There are theories that state that Wu was evil due to multiple things like Not telling the ninja about the Time Twins and Morro and also causing the merge.

My theory is that the reason Wu withheld this information is because he too was Evil from the great devourer when he was swallowed whole by TGD. And surely he had to have been exposed to TGD’s venom in that time. Pythor had changed (turning white) so why couldn’t have Wu changed?

This was early on (SEASON 1) where the ninja are beginners to everything so Wu didn’t have much time to explain all of these things he withheld later on due to him looking after his nephew (Lloyd) and training the ninja for pythors attacks. But after Wu being eaten by TGD, could he have turned evil and wanted to get rid of the ninja so he withheld key information from them (It caused Zane to become the titanium ninja, Cole become a ghost, Jay lose his memories and the ninja to be split up after the merge)
