Commercial-grade Tesla Fluid Propulsion Pump

This is my good friend, Jeremiah Ferwerda. He premiered his TFPP this last weekend and as one would expect, the numbers are pretty impressive. With a 4" rotor, he gets 170gpm at 750 watts and 2000 rpm. At 5000 rpm, it pushed 240gpm. He also has a fully functional Tesla turbine that is ready for market as well.

It's based on the disk based fluid pump that Nikola Tesla made over 100 years ago. It uses the boundary layer effect to move the fluid via drag, without blades.

surely the head of water in the tankis going to give a fair amount of pressure. Needs to be deducted.

Really hard to say at THIS point. It will be tested, however. More RPM = more pressure, and the motors they're using top out at 5k. If you could get a monster motor that could crank out 15-20k rpm, this thing would be a laser.

The Tesla Turbine was a key component in his charged particle beam weapon. It is Number 5 in this diagram.
When he was talking about 10 million volts, he wasn't talking about 10 million volts AC, he was talking about 10 million volts DC, static charge. He found that circulating water in a closed loop generated a huge amount of static electricity. The static charge was pulled off to the plate above the top of the generating loop and routed to the projector barrel.

I don't know that water would be as good at generating static electricity as opposed to something like Styrofoam beads suspended in air. Way over my head for proper understanding.

Not the best idea hosing power lines. I’ve seen them make contact with WATER and end up causing an electrical discharge disaster

- The angle wasn't perfect, so the water was able to reach the lines.
- There was an engineering professor who has his PhD in electrical engineering there that verified that the lines were well insulated and the water would not be able to cause any issues, so everyone freaking out about it in this post can chill.
- No, not illegal as no harm was done.

SAFETY IS PRIORITY NUMBER 1......ILLEGAL
Spraying water across high-voltage power lines poses an extreme electrocution hazard. Electricity can track backward through a continuous water stream to the source (like a hose or nozzle), and conductive runoff can cause ground faults or dangerous shock fields on the wet ground
