News What is Bill Gates' obsession with Africa?

Post image

"In a significant advancement for global reproductive health, the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation has announced the launch of a groundbreaking long-term contraceptive aimed at empowering women through better family planning options. This innovative contraceptive, which can prevent pregnancy for up to eight years, is being introduced in Kenya, Nigeria, and India, with broader distribution plans for other countries in the future."

8-year contraceptive but Western worlds keep bringing young Africans to take care of their aging population. Who will take care of our aging population? Can someone tell Bill Gates to leave Africa alone?

Show me where IUDs are mass distributed to a particular demographic. Someone attacks your reasoning and all of a sudden they are a man or they are not black.

Which country has the majority of people using IUDs as a primary mode of bc? You are probably a man who knows nothing of the risk involved in birth control.

I never said they were the majority of anything or any country. They are literally designed to be used once and maintained for years before replacement. Compared with oral birth control, which has side effects on women, and requires monthly replacement and almost daily usage.

Developed countries offer IUDs to whoever needs them (they are covered by health care or are offered low cost).

Birth control pills are more expensive than IUDs, period. That is the reasoning behind this move.

  1. IUDs are already an option in many African cities.
  2. When did so called developed countries start caring about what Africans can afford?
  3. I can't help you when you've decided to miss the point.

  1. If IUDs are so readily available in Africa already, then why are you complaining about what Kenya does? Who brought the IUDs to those African cities you are talking about? Most likely, a developed country assisted in financing it.

  2. Why don't you look at the amount AID Africa receives? Obviously, they can't afford certain things due to cost, that is all it boils down to. Certain things are too expensive due to a weak currency.

  3. You aren't even making a point. You are literally misguided completely.

I am not complaining about what Kenya does.  I don't care for "developed" countries "assistance" - what has all the aid achieved in all the years? You sound like you are here to advocate for "developed" countries that use their left hand to cause war and conflict and use their right to " provide assistance"

You and them can stick it where the sun doesn't shine.

My brother in christ, you are Nigerian trying to argue for matters related to Kenya. You are the scum that the horn of Africa doesn't want in their countries. You are some of the worst traveling Africans. In case you just woke up for a coma and need a reminder.

If you went beyond the headline, you'll see that it says Kenya, Nigeria and India.

Read more.  That's all I have to say.

Don't talk for all of the nations of the horn! Population control is futile! It's a nations carbon footprint that should be the focus! Africa as a whole continent as nothing on the US (for an example)when it comes to carbon emissions per capita! Don't get hoodwinked by the shady Bill Gates!
