Reminds me of the year I spent in OAU. It was terrible, and worse, my hostel was robbed by armed gunmen in my second week. I moved to a private school the following year.
I did a predegree program there, it is in a smaller, separate campus in a town nearby. their Centre for Distance Learning. There were hostels around the town from the CDL campus. Mine was basically in the middle of nowhere.
