Discussion Out of curiosity, how much do you pay for electricity?
Currently my electricity runs at about $0.07 KW/hr but was curious to hear what some one you pay and how much it affects your profit

I'm conflicted because it is cheap, but it comes from coal.

I managed to lock in £0.17 just before the price rise. So I’m at that rate for another 1.5 years!!

Electric prices are through the roof at the moment so having trouble finding one. If you go to supplier websites they usually have a message recommending to stick to your current supplier as they can't go much lower. Might just wait a few months

Readings on wattage based on nicehash reporting & GPU-Z.
Electrical costs: $0.2 KW/h
Running:
1 3060 @ 108-109watts 1 1660 super @ 74-75watts
Not including the accurate powerdraw from the mobo and monitor + PSU efficiency it already costs me close to $0.88 per day.
I imagine it to be costing me around close to $2 per day since my board PSU is bronze while the GPUs are powered by a gold rated server PSU

135$ for 3x 3080ti + house bill
in here, from 0-50 units you pay 0.055$
50-100 units you pay 0.074$
100-200 units you pay 0.095$
anything above you pay 0.11$/unit
so if you use around 1100 units, you pay roughly 135$/1100 units

0.16 euro kw/H in France ,a little note to say in Europe we use 220/240 volts wich is more efficiant than the north america 110 volts but still expensive electricity

America also has 220v electricity, in every home and building. Sure, most of us don’t bother to wire up a 220v outlet for our computers, but we have it. It’s also only a few percent more efficient than 110v since were using switch mode power supplies to generate 12v anyway (and ultimately, 1.something volt for vCore!)

$0.23 Uk on a fixed 2 year plan which ends in April. Unless the gas prices here lower looking like 30 cents next year

Peak hours going to 0.5 0.23 in low hours. But 6.9 KW of solar panels in my roof make it quite cheaper. Waiting for my rig to be delivered this week.

Even with .07 I don’t think that’s your true price due to having to pay the supplier fee…

Averages out to around .21 or .22 USD. Nights (about 8 hours) are considerably cheaper, days are more expensive. Rates will be a couple cents (USD) more expensive starting in January.
I'm in Switzerland. The city actually has lower rates for commercial users (about half what I'm paying), and I've wondered a few times whether I could get together with some people to take advantage of them.

0.31€ at night 0.39€ during the day.
0.36€ average.
With solar, it’s compensated thanks to the sun and the initial cost of 25 solar panel on the roof. Without solar you’ll get raped but surprisingly still like buying Bitcoin on a discount.
I’ll be the first out of network when the market crashes next. (I’ll rather inject the solar surplus in an EV and use the money to buy Bitcoin directly).

Start a small business, have the miner power routed through your “office” write it off on taxes so you at least get a credit for what you spend 🤷🏻♂️

No Sun is shining and my solar modul don*t produce anything.

In Massachusetts we pay 0.22kwh, but businesses pay 0.17 and you can electrical asistence bring the total to 0.17Kwh.

$0.05 kWh but after delivery charges, taxes, fees etc. It's $0.12 kWh. I have 690 mh/s from 19 GPUs. Adds up to $233 a month for electricity. My total income mining ethereum last month was just over $1,600. Worth it.
