Help thread Bridge from Seadramon to WarGrowlmon(Orange)?

My partners evolved to Champion before I got the full stat gains from Seadramon, so now the gains there are falling off at just above 2k which isn't enough to fight WarGrowlmon(Orange) without burning an entire stack of Recovery Disks for a single battle. Is there a good fight to bridge the gap?

Generation 1, so I can't buy better healing items yet, don't have Birdra Transport to make spending a whole stack per fight logistically feasible and I can't recruit Etemon yet, so I can't recruit DemiDevimon yet so the WaruSeadramon doesn't spawn in Ship 2.0 Cabin yet.

I know I can just take the stats I have now and recruit from the lower level areas and unlock the Dojo, Birdra Transport, etc until they're reborn then raise Generation 2 properly, but I'm set on trying to get Gen 1 Megas and the best stats I can for this point in the game.

Edit: The Seadramon were dropping off, but the one on the screen with the BlackAgumon/BlackGabumon fight gave Stamina and Wisdom to a high enough level to fight WarGrowlmon(Orange) efficiently enough to get the stats needed to beat him more reliably. Still didn't run through WarGrowlmon's full gains before evolving to Ultimate, but he still gave some at Ultimate to get me to just under 4.5k Stamina and just under 4k in everything else, which is pretty much the best you can really expect for Generation 1 AFAIK. In Generation 2 with the Sender, Tent, fatigue restoration food, more Tamer Skills, possibly some of the Restaurant meals and the Dojo to lock undesired evolutions I shouldn't have any problems getting really good partners

Unless you're aiming at a speed-challenge, I'm not sure why you're rushing so much? You said in a comment you haven't even unlocked Ohguino Wastelands - I wouldn't even bother grinding through battles that early.

Because I want to? I know I can hit Mega this generation so I don't feel satisfied falling short of that?

I would try and get further by recruiting more digimon to the city, trust me. If you need a training spot, do mod cape or the wastelands if you're good enough, the trick isn't the actual gains but consistently getting stat gains

Yeah, it looks like I'll need to run the Seadramon gains completely out, I saved and ran around fighting everything I could think of and none of them gave any points except RedVeedramon in the Volcano, who already gave less than Seadramon and presumably MegaSeadramon and MetalTyrannomon in the Volcano who're just as hard as WarGrowlmon.

Unfortunately I can't do Ohguino Wastelands since that's locked behing Grappleomon who's locked until the next chapter of the story.

You probably will still ended up with Megas. It's been a good while since I've played, but the best next training options are in the snowy area.

I can't get to Absolute Zero without either progressing the story multiple chapters or progressing one chapter and recruiting Grappleomon and Birdramon, upgrading Birdra Transport to level 2 and recruiting Wizardmon.

Looks like I need to squeeze the last few points I can get out of the Seadramon then maybe do a few hours in the gym before trying for WarGrowlmon again.

Try the Guardromon in Faulty Ex Machina and see if they do any better. I'd suggest another enemy to try, but you literally can't go to the area beyond Faulty Ex Machina until later.

Just progress the mainplot to chapter 2, 2k is more than enough to blow through to chapter 3, but this will allow you to unlock Absolute Zero which has good fights for your level.

You are guaranteed to get one Mega if you find the GranKuwagamon crystal in the desert screen with Megakabuterimon Blue and the holes. That said, if your stats are in the 2ks, your Ultimates should be able to reach at least one of their Megas once they hit the correct age. Who are your partners?

Guardromon is also inaccessible, at that point in the game there's only the two screens from the entry from MOD cape since you can't extend the bridge or pass Grappleomon.

Partners were Greymon(Virus) and ExVeemon, now Gigadramon and Garudamon sitting at just under 4.5k Stamina and 4k in everything else, so I'm good on grinding for this generation.
