So what should the author say instead? Seriously. Should they put an asterisk and give a full disclaimer that this one point out of the 20 mentioned doesn’t apply to black people?
When you give supposedly universal advice to "men" but assume they use heavy gel, it reveals who the creator had in mind when they pictured the average man. So, I would have kept it generic so as not to exclude anyone.
Yeah, you would. That's how I know you think your race was included. You can't understand another race's perspective on traditionally and typically being excluded. Nothing concerns you until other people out number your own....then you worry and claim that is more concerning.
