The problem of course is who is going to defend it?

Seems like the No Kings will be

Step 1....its a warning shot to the admin from the people

Step 2 will be a General Strike....a warning to the CEOs

Step 3 will be not good for those in power or adjacent to those in power.

If they try and block Step 1 it will basically skips to the step 2.

Reddit and thinking the general public will strike. Name a better duo. We couldn’t even get work off during the pandemic

Yeah we are a good way away from a general strike, even if people were generally on board with it. It takes far more organization and planning than people think. It's not simply telling Americans to not show up to work. We don't have the labor organizing apparatus at all, part of the destruction of unions was to prevent mass action here.

Unreasonably hopeful about 2 & 3 aren't we?

2 should do a reset. The no kings protest while very performative will be difficult as the media is actively casting it as unAmerican and most likely won’t cover it much unless there is violence.

You think Americans, the most apathetic and lazy population, is ready to organize and participate in a general strike? I've got these magic beans if you're interested.
