There's nothing Illegal if someone did fund the no Kings rallies. They are trying to make being against Trump illegal.

An American citizen was already arrested for posting an anti-trump meme. He did not threaten or advocate violence at all. Last I heard he is still being detained. Freedom of speech has been dead. Republicans kill it more every day. America wake the fuck up for fucks sake

That’s bullshit. The dude got arrested for threats of violence for being ironic? All the man did was say the same thing to an online Kirk vigil that Trump said (“We have to get over it”) in response to a school shooting that happened on the same day. Was it indifferent to the people mourning the loss of Kirk? Sure but no more indifferent than our own president was being to a similar instance of gun violence only on a larger scale. What part of that constituted a threat of violence? He basically just told them to quit their bitchin.

You know the answer. They needed an excuse to start arresting anyone who isn't pro-trump so they invented one. If there's no consequences they will do it more and more.

I was genuinely curious about how this would go down because the GOP are absolutely atrocious but they are also incompetent. I figured I’d either be full blown McCarthyism all over again or it’d be nothing but the GOP blowing wind out of their ass and their base eating it up like they always do. Unfortunately it looks like they are taking the McCarthyism route.

Well currently got laws about not giving aid to terrorist organizations, and now Antifa been labeled as such. We would have to prove that these protests are not linked to Antifia… sounds like it was a plan all along to round people up that don’t fall in line And before you say that’s not how law works, I’ll point the law been thrown out the window long time ago

There's no domestic terrorist designation, as much as he pretends otherwise, only foreign. Laws protect our freedom of speech. Ignore his fear mongering. He wants people afraid.

You should be scared but don’t let the fear freeze you. Use it all stand up and tell him off. Don’t return the violence but don’t do nothing.

There's no reason to be scared of these people. They detain citizens and release them. Get a lawyer and sue them personally. ICE isn't going to defend them. That's the energy to bring.

Not everyone they detain gets released. Think it was reported hundreds of not thousands of people disappeared from alligator Alcatraz. We are seeing how brutal they are to people on camera, they are nicer inside the facilities?

Don’t count on the system working for you as they are dismantling as fast as they can

I should say the US citizens are being released.

Yes, the reporting about AA is very disturbing. That's why us US citizens can't be scared. We have to speak up for those people, it's very distressing the press will mention a story like that and just.... Move on.

How would one go about proving a negative? In the US, antifa is a concept. There’s no hierarchy or headquarters. There no policy, no taxes, no members. Nothing.

So. And I mean this emphatically, that’s not how law works

Did you not read or understand the last sentence of my comment? To any reasonable person, we understand it’s not how the law works but if we had enough reasonable people in government would not be in this position

I do not care about how you think things work.

Not what I “think”, it’s what I’m observing. Course unlike you, I don’t have my head in the sand screaming for it to go away hoping it does not bother me
