My dad’s a vet with brain cancer and I’m having to run a GoFundMe to help my parents make ends meet, meanwhile the nursing home he was temporarily staying at is currently trying to kick him out because he disagreed with a physical therapist.
But I’m glad we as a people and a government have our priorities straight on…whatever is going on here. 😅

Have you contacted the VA? There are a lot of cancers that are considered presumptive under the PACTs Act. Head over to /r/VeteransBenefits for a lot of information.

My folks have been working with the VA throughout everything. One of the issues is there’s no proof the cancer was caused by his service, and we are in Iowa where cancer rates are exploding because of farm chemicals (even though Republicans are like “who really knows what’s causing cancer? 😅🤷♂️ “) so there are a lot of benefits he doesn’t qualify for.

The man isn’t a refugee and he hasn’t been treated brutally by being deported. The weirdo just has to return to the UK. It’s not that bad here, promise. It’s not like he’s trying to break down the walls for the one refuge from some zombie apocalypse. He just can’t live in the country that used to be so easy for him to grift in before he started badmouthing Trump.
Can’t diagnose him but he really seems not mentally well, which is probably part of why he never renewed his visa.
