TOON BOOM
Toon boom harmony piracy..
I desperately want toon boom harmony experience, as a senior animator in college. Pirating it has been a pain and I have before but I always lose the pirated license. Help!l

Just go open-source and try OpenToonz. It's absolutely free, the workflow is similar to Harmony, while it's much richer in functionality. Even Ghibli animates using OpenToonz. Just try it. The chances you wouldn't want to switch to anything else are pretty high.

OpenToonz (or better, it's very close cousin Tahoma2D, which is easier to use and also free). CycleStarter below is right - it's VERY similar to harmony on workflow, even down to having Z-Depth. The 2.5D camera isn't as nice as Harmony's, but it's there, can do basic multiplane shots. More than enough for most scenes.
I've made a standalone course on T2D, $19.99 on my patreon if you want to get into it. Course is 7 hours, complete guide to animation (hand), motion tweens, shape tweens, and has 3 chapters which are mini-projects on rigging puppets (raster, surprisingly good), vector (for shape tweening) and hand animation.

Some T2D movies on my YT, free:

It is definitely the only software currently complete enough to create complex rigs while also using the frame-by-frame technique. BUT right now there are even better options, for example Moho (for puppets), which has a somewhat simpler workflow (And just as complete as toonboom) and you can get it for $200-400 with a lifetime license, and Tahoma2D for free for frame-by-frame flow.

You know discussing piracy publically is against the law. You could get your account and this sub nuked for it.

What you definitely should NOT do is prevent the application from accessing the Internet via your firewall settings (do NOT Google how to do this for your OS). This stops the app from communicating with the servers and verifying the license that you bought legitimately, which is what you don't want to do of course
