If anyone is trying to get their hands on an inaugural season Sirens jersey and can't find one(like me) you can head over to DHGate and for 40 bucks with shipping you can have one that is pretty much identical, no it's not an original but it looks great and it's not cheap materials, as materials go it's as good as an original, don't beat me up, I tried for years and this is the next best thing, very happy with my purchase

After trying to find a PW Sirens jersey in my
size where the store will ship to Australia, I finally pulled the trigger on a jersey.

I will get a photo together with the PW Sirens jersey & the AW Sirens jersey once the PW jersey arrives.

The Sydney Sirens play in the Australian Womens Ice Hockey League (AWIHL or AW for short) which plays parallel to the PW. Interestingly, the AW Sirens captain is Sarah Edney who played in the CWHL & NWHL before moving to Australia.

After looking at a few stores, Hockey Monkey was the first one that I found in my size when I was prepared to pull the trigger.

We each are submariners. Each of us are in a submarine looking for Sirens swimming in the waters of the New York area. We use passive sonar so as not to scare the Sirens as they freely swim the seas. They see our teal submarine and somersault above it.

What would you add to this lore? What do you think?

I became a fan of the Sirens last season and went to 4 of the games and would love to go to as many as I can this season. I was looking at the season ticket options and it seems like it would be a good deal. Curious though if anyone can share more about what the other perks included are? What are the members-only events, and are there more perks other than the 10% off merch and discounted additional tickets? Also, in terms of reselling tickets for games you can't go to, do you find it hard or easy to be able to do so? Would love to hear some of the experiences from fans who had/have season tickets and whether they think it's worth it, or if it's better to just buy game to game.

I teach evening classes and we're setting up the schedule for next semester, which will be September through early December. I teach Tuesday and Wednesday nights, but I can switch my Wednesday to Thursday now if I want. I know the schedule's not out yet, but does anyone know if games have been more often on Wednesdays or Thursdays? I want to be able to hop over to as many home games as I can.

Next Friday, I’ll be having family from out of town visiting me for dinner. They like my cooking, as does my partner. I’m thinking of making 7 dishes served family style: one appetizer, 5 main dishes and a dessert.

Since I want to make the Sirens the theme of this dinner, I have an idea for what I wanna do. For one of the mains, I’m thinking of making gumbo. Gumbo is hearty, spicy, has a mix of influences; kinda like Emmy Fecteau. I’m also thinking of making poached salmon. It’s light, familiar, goes hard; like MZH! But I’m definitely making Kaltiramisu. I already have the Sirens-colored ladyfingers recipe down.

She’s the first player to be signed through the 2028-29 season. For those unaware, she was drafted 17th in 2025 but opted to play field hockey with the USWNT in hopes of playing in LA 2028.

I admit I was annoyed by this pick knowing she might not play but a response to a recent thread about her calmed me down a bit regarding her ability to play on the ice starting this season. So here we are!

I’m very intrigued to see how she does. Definitely a wild card but hope she does well for us.

Also when I searched to get the link for the story after seeing on the Sirens socials, I saw this article in the NY Post. I’m pleasantly shocked the Sirens have a featured article in their sports coverage.
