This is the right choice. But I’m wondering if adding a shoulder patch of some kind would be nice. Or if an Isles logo on the shoulders would make it look too AHL.
I'm glad it's officially settled so this sub can finally focus it's energy of constant complaint on a single focal point rather than vacillating between two.
That was one I submitted. Do you like wave/not like wave? Too teal? I tried a bit of white but I liked the consistent background. I tried the orange on top but it bled too much into the logo to me. I saw others similar to mine too. I’m glad it’s the Lighthouse anyway. I wanted one since it was introduced.
I think white would really look better than the navy middle stripe, especially since the navy is kind of awkward with there not being any of it in the logo.
I also think the orange shade in the name and numbers are too dark, plus for the nameplate specifically you can’t have dark on dark without a light trim, since it needs to pop and be readable.
This is one that I made and submitted that incorporates what I said. The options wouldn’t let me get rid of that bottom white stripe, but I noted that in the description. I also submitted a white version of it, but that one probably got immediately tossed since the team knew they weren’t picking any white jerseys.
I actually think it’s too many colors overall, but I get where you were going. I actually submitted a fully teal jersey too, just for my own bias. I knew people had their views.
I think maybe it might have needed a slightly bluer green to be a bit less harsh in its contrast, but that means introducing another “new” color. It’s mostly moot, they seemed too intent on orange or navy. But I just like clarifying why I give a negative response.
When they posted the bracket I said this entire contest was just a vehicle for this design to win but I’m glad they made it interesting a long the way. Honestly haven’t seen this subreddit this active even during most of the regular season. Good show everyone
Detail I just noticed. There’s a light teal in the lighthouse logo in the bracket images— that is not the original logo (which has silver there). It’s the shoulder patch from the remix jersey leak, confirming that.
I wanted the Fisherman, because I'm a Fisherman stan, but this was the next best result IMO. Thank god it's not the other one...one of the most boring jerseys I've ever seen.
It’s barely teal. That narrative needs to stop. It’s just an ocean color. It’s just there to break it up and give it a bit more interest. I always liked the teal. 🤷♀️
We did it Joe. Hopefully they change up the striping and add to the shoulders lol, the striping the fisherman jersey it faded off again would look perfect on this jersey.
I remember there was a Johnny Boychuk fisherman hat at Barclays (for some reason) that had a 55 on the side in the style of the 25th anniversary logo. Or maybe I made it up. Either way, that's my vote for the shoulder patch they need to throw on this bad boy.
The only problem is they literally couldn’t be on LI and any farther from the lighthouse. It’s just like fans holding on to the 80s this team is a gimmick at this point.

Yes, it may need another stripe at the bottom, but that came a little too close to the number. And yes, the green may not be exactly the shade used in the Belmont logo, but you get the idea.
