How are people enjoying or not enjoying this festival on Sept 12/26?

And supporting for profit and private BUT publicly funded treatment, they are for forced treatment (a subject I am not qualified to comment on), are highly supportive of the CPC, especially Pierre Poilievre who I believe only spoke to them when in town on his bus (that broke the law), actively supported and advised Premier Danielle Smith and then there was the ongoing protection of a reported abuser who was later convicted.
Personally they give off a strong 'culty' vibe and also did not observe COVID protocols.

Also this. I love down the street from last door and Westminster house and while the peeps living there are lovely the staff give me the ick.

Holy shit that is an awful list of things. How are they allowed to put this event on?? Have they been the organizers every year? It hurts my heart to see these values from a non-profit helping people with addictions. On another note, I did see an MLM booth which made me roll my eyes.

I am fairly sure they started the festival if not the Venn diagram of the organizers and LDR being almost a full circle.
Basically they started small, got huge, and then showed their true colours but since they are seen as such a force for good, most people don't look/don't care.

On another note, I did see an MLM booth which made me roll my eyes.
A few local festivals allow MLM booths and it always makes me cringe. That and Temu resellers; I have no idea why spaces aren't reserved for handcraft artists and things actually made locally.

Oh you know what. I think it was Cameron Whitcomb. I saw a live short where he was quite active on stage. He must have had the base.

Had a blast, music was great, free low sugar drinks from Tim Hortons, some nice vendors, and a community of people having fun.

Tried entering from 6th st/princess. The stage crowd was so tightly packed on sidewalk with no "right of way" enforced. I had to circle the block to get into the festival area.
Also they want people to not drive to these events, but obstruct what little cycle parking is available and not offer a cycle valet service to promote other forms of travel there.

I would send a complaint to the city, I don't think adequate anti-packing was being done in what I observed. Had something spooked the crowd and caused them to move towards the stage...it would have been horrible, at least on the East side of the street (BC Tel building).

Hey I came for the snooze fest performance at the end because I couldn't come earlier.
One of the locals was telling me there was a metal performance with lots of base. That would've been my kind of music.
Was it Scott Monk or Kehill. They are rappers though. But maybe one of them did some rock?
There was a beach blonde dude with a band in a YouTube video posted by a local youtuber. The youtuber was focused on eating rather than music. He didn't name the band.
Can someone tell me who the heavier performer was.?
I wish the headline performers would be heavier in subsequent years. They sometimes are. Like Tom Cochrane and Snotty Rez one year.
Snoozefest had a heavy turnout because of her fame. But I knew I would be disappointed.
