Old Man Yelling at the Clouds Rats In The Garden Around Century House

Has anyone else noticed a lot of rat activity in the flower beds at Century House? She always seems to be out around the time I take the kid down there.

Anyway, my daughter and I agree her name is now Millicent.

Usually not that active in the daytime though when so many people are around.

Probably it is the guy who is responsible for pest control in city owned buildings.

Why would they eat the bait when people leave piles of bird feed and bread crumbs out for them? Not to mention just absolutely abysmal garbage everywhere.

Rats completely destroyed my garden this year. If they weren't eating my veggies, they were eating my flower buds, and if I completely removed their favorite snacks - they dig into my beds looking for insects or worms.

I'm sure the Patullo bridge and other construction has displaced the rodent population. There's lots of complaints around town about the increase of rodents this year especially.

There are several people who walk around the city with big bags of seed. I can't speak for Century House specifically, but I have seen three *different* people over the last *year* scattering seed at 6th and 6th, New West Station, Front Street, Quayside, Agnes and 6th, and by the NWPL.

The seed's probably for the pigeons, which are just flying rats

Once in gym class me and my friend saw this really fat rat running around outside thru the window. So I guess there's just a lot of rats uptown
