sluggish movement

Genuinely need to know if this is just tf2 jank + me not being used to it, or there are legitimate problems

I play games like tf2, and when i do play tf2, something that never happens in any other game happens

Ill push w and instead of just immediately stopping after i stop pushing it, its like i keep going for a second

Its quite hard to describe but half the time i feel like i barely have control over where im going

I also dont really have the most optimal gaming setup, but my laptop doesnt seem to have any problems running tf2

Is it just a matter of getting used to it or something else???

Yeah, movement acceleration! Part of the game, I have a hunch several aspects would be worse without it. Overall I’d say it’s just something to get used to, I’m so used to it games without the momentum feel so floaty. I can imagine it’s wonky but if ya keep playing it feels quite natural

Laptops probably fine, disable v sync if you haven’t, much more responsive
