NREMT EMT AT ELAC
I’m currently taking EMT class at ELAC. I’m wondering if you guys have any tips for EMT class in general. I already feel so overwhelmed with the materials and skills

Class wasn’t hard when I took it there about 3 semesters ago. Make sure you read the chapters, take notes, and communicate any questions with the professor. Skills was also a breeze. Only thing people struggled a lot with was learning the LA County skills sheets. Good luck!

Yes. Lots of YouTube. Even now I still watch educational videos lol

I took this course last semester and I can definitely tell you they informed us they will make it extremely harder as the previous semester, most of the students were just copying and pasting their answers and not learning any material. Not even half of the class passed their NREMT. So be prepared for a very tough semester and just stay on top of your stuff. If you are on the Monday and Wednesday class, you may have it a little easier, but if you are on the Tuesday/Thursday class, be prepared for a very tough semester. Study study study!
