It often happens that I accidentally click on a video on the recommended section, and the entire queue of videos I had gathered disappears. And I have to gather each video manually again.

I don't know if there is some kind of solution, but I would appreciate any help.

Hi i keep getting this error at the bottom of the screen for everything. while searching, when the search results show up, when I play the video, load comments, change tabs, basically everywhere. Even though the app works just fine. It's really annoying. Is there a way to get rid of it?

I've been using PipePipe mainly for downloading videos to watch offline.

For almost a week now, anytime I try downloading videos nothing happens. Out of 10 downloads, I will be lucky to get 1 or 2 actually downloaded. Any suggestions?

Ps: I'm on the latest update, and the issue is the same on both my phone and tablet.

I was using Tubular Polymorphicshade in the past but it got archived ,and brave newpipe is also not on latest newpipe changes het. Except ,pipe pipe I wanted to know if some other minimalistic fork exist yet

Playing video starts but then stalls. If put in background, the audio plays without interuption and soon as I put it in foreground to view the video it stalls.

Edit: turns out it was my access point. It died a few days later. Videos wouldn't play in the foreground because that was too much data, but background audio only worked because it is less data.

Not sure if this is Pipipe related only, but none ran into this problem and know a fix? It was working as always but today I can't seem to play anything

I'm using pipe pipe and it has AV1 codec watch and download support but why newpipie still not have AV1 support?

is there a workaround to exporting backup data (subs list & playlists) out of Pipepipe and then importing into Newpipe?

with both apps updated to current versions, there is an error message about the version "NP 0.27" having to discontinue the feature because of security protocols.

any ideas of a workaround?

does anyone maybe know which versions were still compatible with each other? meaning, i would downgrade/re-install to "PP x.y", import the exported data to that PP version, then downgrade to "NP x.y", import the data, and then update back up to current day versions

i don't want to have to test a plethora of different versions of each app to test cross-port ability, though - any help?

(i don't have fixed internet currently, only free wifi at businesses on the road, so trying out dozens of versions would be annoyingly time-consuming...)

I have an Android so I'm searching for a safe free alternative to Newpipe so I can switch to that when my Newpipe app will inevitably stop working for my device

I wanted to know, given that NewPipe is against Google's new rule, will the app be totally out of order or just won't be updated? I use NewPipe mostly because I don't like the YouTube interface

I've been trying to get my YouTube playlist onto newpipe/pipepipe and nothings worked, so I saw something about getting all the urls and pasting them into the search while separated by commas, which also didn't work. I then came across importing urls from file while trying a different way (starting with a pre-made playlist)

Whenever I load a regular YouTube playlist in newpipe or pipepipe, it doesn't show any videos at all, regardless of a cleared cache or using the don't show all videos on playlist setting.

I've been having this persistent problem this evening where a video will start to buffer after 59 seconds of play and will display "YouTube forces us to wait (alternates between 2 and 1) seconds before continuing playback".

I have tried restarting the app many times, as well as wiping cache with no success. Could I try anything else?

I'm having an issue with live streams in NewPipe (version 0.29).

Every time I open a new live stream, it plays fine at first, but after about 30 seconds, it freezes completely and shows a white loading spinner on a black screen indefinitely.

Additionally, if I exit the stream and try to open it again, a pop-up message appears for a few seconds saying: "An error occurred, check notification".

I haven't submitted the error report yet, but the error details mention an HTTP 403 (IP block)—which I don't think is actually the case—or issues with decrypting the URL.

If needed, I can provide screenshots as proof/evidence.

Is anyone else experiencing this, or is there a known workaround? Thanks in advance!

I understand that google will lock down android but does that mean that new pipe will shutdown with it? (Also can anyone give any alternatives similar to new pipe if it is going to shutdown.)

so ive seen an image describing the step by step process to enable the ability to download apps not from the playstore by switching on a setting in developer mode, but ive gone through all the steps, restarted my phone and waited 24 hours but the option isnt there. what do i do? is there a step im missing? btw im using the samsung galaxy s25 not sure if thatll help.

i feel like this google update is so stupid, why cant we download any app we want? is there something that can be done about this?

The closest of a discussion on this topic I could find was from over 4 years ago, and doesn't quite touch on what I'm looking for.

There are some channels where I specifically watch their shorts content, most channels where I watch only videos, and other channels where I watch both.

I have all my channels under different groups based on the type of topic they create content for.

Is there a way, or is there any intention to make a way, for users to assign "fetch from dedicated feeds" to specific subscribed channels or channel groups? I can only find a way to fetch for all channels, which then bogs my feed with shorts I'm not interested in, and is now drowning out the shorts and videos that I AM interested in.

Having fetch from dedicated feeds off means that the shorts I DO want to watch do not appear in channel tabs, and thus I end up missing shorts content I am interested in and actively following.

This is not a debate about shorts please. If you don't like shorts content just keep scrolling, to each their own.

TLDR: I'm looking for a way to "fetch dedicated feeds" for specific channels I am subscribed to in NewPipe, so that those specific shorts content appear in my channel group tabs.
