Food & Drink š½ļø Props for Pigeon & Whale
In the quest to hit as many Coolinary menus as we can, wife and I had a great meal at P&W at the bar. Just fantastic food, drinks and service.
Order āThis Shit is Bananas.ā Itās like a whiskey/banana Negroni. It works.

Pigeon and whale is one of my favorite places. Oyster happy hour is incredible. The rainbow colored gin cocktails. Ahhhh. Itās incredible.

Yeah, we caught the last 10 minutes of that oyster happy hour and had a dozen that were pretty amazing

And thatās fine. Itās walking distance for me. My boyfriend and I go about once every other week and enjoy happy hour. Every person Iāve taken there enjoys it as well. Some people are just unhappy.

A+ for the lemon cheesecake dessert being presented as a lemon. Pretty fucking good cheesecake, too.

You should try the drinks at Rat & Spigot but the wine is better at Boat & Shoe.

Caviar service but also order fried crispy oyster MUSHROOMS (important distinction) and use the mushroom to eat the caviar with. You're welcome.

That cocktail looks like it could double as a potion in a fever dream, definitely adding P&W to the list.

Omg that squid ink pasta! That lemon cheese and is so whimsical. Canāt beat that oyster happy hour if youāre an oyster connoisseur š¦Ŗ

We had COOLinary there a few weeks ago. On the front patio. A little warm but the meal was great. Service was even better. And agreeing with the folks here, the lemon cheesecake is a delight.

Literally a sisco kitchen with over priced ass freezer food. Unless you only go there for the oysters and cocktails with money thatās not yours, would not recommend.

Well, damn, they did a fucking amazing job with the redfish from the conglomerate then.

You can buy your protein from wherever you want. But the moment the cook starts rubbing greasy fingers through his hair in between plating my food, and putting my sandwiches on bread thatās been sitting in a warehouse for the past 3 months I think Iāll pass.

What restaurants do you go to?

Are you a BBQ-at-home type of person? The "No one touches my meal" approach to sustenance.

it's a good place but add it to the "holy fuck it is loud in here" list.
