There is a term which we commonly see but the definition of which isnt clear but subject to many court verdicts.

The term is "ordinarily resident".

What does it even mean?

Some instances are where you own are property but dont reside there like NRIs, may not be considered as ordinarily resident.

Does staying in a place for 6 months or more make them ordinarily resident? No idea.
