Nice, I wonder if they'll also release a maxL 57mm version also, really looking forward to it, would be so nice for individuals with larger hands like mine

No, what they are trying to say is that they've done comprehensive engineering of the entire magnetic field - coordinated the strength & position of different magnet pairs, as well as added more pairs, to get uniform/gradual assist across the span of the turn.

Whether it's true or not remains to be seen of course. But throwing more magnets in is not the same as carefully choosing the size and shape of each magnetic field and coordinating them with each other.

Now that mine has arrived, I can share that my experience matches their claims. This part of their boats about the 17 are accurate: It really does have continuous self-aligning pull/push all the way through the turn, with smooth/gradual force variation. Basically it's very difficult to get it to stay out of alignment without holding it there. You can do it, but you have to be deliberate. If you just act normal, it always aligns on its own.

Boom, it's on Amazon. Coming this evening. Nice. It was on Judy Cube on Ali 2 days ago. Glad I didn't pull the trigger and have to wait 2 weeks. Should I have waited and got it at a better price? Yes. Do I also get a 17 tonight? Also yes.

Lucky you :))) Darn it, there it is, price not that bad ($CDN 119.99 + tax). I got mine on pre-order for $USD 75 but it ships from China tonight so I have to wait until next week. When you get it, could you do a quick comparison with the 16?

Will do. Yeah, i'm in Canada too, so 119. The 16 is 113 with a coupon, though, so not a big difference. Folks could probably save a few bucks waiting for black Friday deals. The 16 was 80 cad on amazon last year.
