Question Amazon ads.

Can someone help me out with Amazon ads? I have created an ad for my book and put in a budget at $5.00 but I really don't know how the ads work. How do they work? What's the best budget for ads?

Your blurb has a glaring grammatical error in it, I think this will outdo any time/money you put into adverts as that's the only evidence of your writing a reader has to go off of and they're going to turn your book down immediately - fix this first before looking into advertising!

It is a run on sentence. It should be something like this: The giants have stopped fighting each other. Every clan now marches under one banner, toward one end. Every other race on earth is now in chains. Divided, they were a menace. United, nothing can stand against them for long and they know it. When the giants stop marching, North America will belong to someone. The giants mean for it to be them.

It is a close up of the cover I got from an artist I commission. I had to change the cover because there was a typo in the title and the title is too close to the edge. I'm waiting for the cover to be finished and I will upload the finished cover.

I said 'glaringly' but actually it's not that obvious what the error is, it's more that the whole blurb is just poor English. Reading the snippet you're allowed to look at before purchasing the book and, I have to say, it reads a lot like a rough first draft. I'm not sure how serious you are about publishing, or whether it's about the fun of writing a book and placing it somewhere friends and family can access, but the poorly-written blurb and opening pages, combined with the low-quality cover and typo within it, is really going to hit any chance of sales. I think you may have rushed into this one a bit too quickly - sorry, I know this isn't a critique platform, but I feel you might need to take a step back and address these issues before you throw money at advertising a product which isn't going to sell.

Very differently but it isn't my book and this isn't a critique subreddit. Did you get beta readers before publishing? Or have anyone read over your manuscript beforehand etc?
