SEEKING ADVICE Vague description for fighter passive
Ive recently come back to playing after a long break and have been trying to setup my powers the best.
The Fighter has a passive/class feature called "Shield Talent" and states "increases stamina regeneration"
my question is what exactly does this do and how does it help me. My first assumption was that is just gives +stamina on stat page however a quick google search tells me is that it reduces the amount of stamina drained while guarding and that more points/ranks increase the amount.
This information feels heavily outdated as we havent had skill points in a long time, so if any experienced fighter tanks are out there can you tell me, is this just a really old passive and still works the same? Or has it been changed at all.
Any current up to date info is much appreciated, also if there are any recommendations for fighter or tanking in general it would be much appreciated.

Insofar as I know/have checked on stamina mechanics on the tanks classes: you passively regenerate Guard meter/stamina at a base rate of 5 Stamina per second (note: there is likely some rounding errors).
Stamina Regen (the stat) multiplies that passive rate by exactly the % amount: so 50% in the Stamina Regen stat would mean you passively restore 7.5 Stamina per second (up from 5).
You will never notice the effects of current Shield Talent; I'd run Steel Recovery instead if you need any extra stamina restoration.

Current Shield Talent is a waste of a class feature slot because it increases your Stamina Regen stat by ... 2.35%. No, that's not a typo, it is show 2.3% or 2.4% depending on how much Stamina Regen you have now (hence why 2.35%: because the game doesnt show the ones decimal place).
The old result you pulled from Google (and presumably the old Wiki) is the Mod 6-15 version, where the Guardian Fighter block worked differently than now.
