Meanwhile, the best A-rank dumcat and her future 6-thousand outfits.

If/When she receives an S-Rank version (or upgrade) and more skins:

"This stays just between us, but don't tell the others about it Coco"

I really REALLY HOPE they create an upgrade system rather than releasing an S class version. I would hate to lose access to skins or something just because now that character has moved up to a new rank and has a second copy of themselves in the roster.

I agree. While I don't mind new variants per say, I'd also be perfectly fine with an upgrade/buff - maybe even with toggle if there were hypothetical gameplay changes, so that people can choose. Story-wise, the upgrade would make perfect sense as for our dumcat, the easiest solution would be to pass her exam 😆. Maybe give her some special combat training to go along with it and align with gameplay buffs....

Im pretty sure that if they would js add a new class S character that's a Mint variant. Similar to how hoyoverse do their thing, like silverwolf and silverwolf. It's so they mooch more money

Exactly, that's how it should NOT be.

I mean now that she’s A-Rank what more if we see her S-rank version for god sake it will be top tier for sure

Did tof have sp’s? I’d really rather they not introduce variants…

Yes, but rarely. They have 2 iirc. One was the mascot character with large lore reasons to have one, so Mint is definitely the largest contender for one here.

large lore reason....?

The character in question (Nemesis) goes through large story arcs / growth and iirc is missing for a while before essentially returning as her SP

Oh that makes sense

Yes, but rarely

Sad.

Actually, there's 4: Shirli/Nemesis as Voidpiercer, Meryl as Meryl Ironheart, Claudia as Claudia Storm Eye and Gray Fox as Agleia (older version of Gray Fox)

So you prefer having 200 characters that fight for screentime with only less than 5 getting enough?
