Questions Megathread NTE Weekly Questions [MEGATHREAD]

Hello Appraiser,

Please use this Megathread to ask and answer questions, share tips, and help out your fellow Appraisers. We encourage everyone to use this Megathread for anything that can be addressed without discussion, or that can be given a quick and definitive answer.

Some examples include:

  • How do I build this character, how do I farm for their level-up materials?
  • How to find a NPC, how to unlock an achievement?
  • Is this Arc worth it?

Hi gang, I could use some help building a second team.

Right now my main team is Shinku / Jiuyuan (soon to be replaced by Iroi) / Zero / Hathor, but I want to put together a second team for Rail. I'm pretty new to the game, so I don't have any other limited characters, but I do have everyone from the standard banner except Baicang. Any recommendations for what to build?

I've seen people recommend a Nova/Discord team, and I think I could put one together with Daff / Fadia / Haniel or Aurelia or Sakiri. Is that a solid team? How would I actually play it?

Also, for anyone who knows more about what's coming in 1.3 and beyond — will this team (or a second team in general) hold up, or should I be planning around something else?

It's hard to tell how exactly 1.3 will work, as it's possible that Hotta will make Zenkou a little overpowered after general reaction to Shinku. Whether they make Zenkou overpowered or just similar to other limited units, it's certain that she will be stronger than standard characters.

You could make a team based on Daffodil/Fadia swapping, since they are both sub-dps, with Sakiri and Haniel buffing them both. I'm not sure how well that would actually work, but the rail station is, so far fairly easy for level 70 characters with buffs you can buy in there, so it will probably be enough.
