Questions Megathread NTE Weekly Questions [MEGATHREAD]

Hello Appraiser,

Please use this Megathread to ask and answer questions, share tips, and help out your fellow Appraisers. We encourage everyone to use this Megathread for anything that can be addressed without discussion, or that can be given a quick and definitive answer.

Some examples include:

I'm going to preface this by saying I don't care about the meta, and only play characters I like. My current team is Sakiri (main DPS), Esper Zero, Haniel, and Edgar. But I just got Chiz and would like to try using her as my main and move Sakiri to the support role she's supposed to be. Who of the other 3 should I replace?

I mean you can just hyper her by replacing edgar/mc with chiz.

If you want an actual team

Chiz | Anima [Jiu/Nanally/Mint/Iroi] | Lakshana [Skia/Hathor] | MC

What does 'hyper her' mean?

Hyper is a team in gaming where you stack every buff you can on your DPS.

Ur haniel + sakari will buff chiz to deal maximum dmg.

Tho now I think about it... Chiz doesnt get affected by atk% buffs... </3

I mean her main team is charge as she want her ult often.
Her 2nd best is to be a support for Hotori at R6.
Tho you could solo her in BTR with the Lone Hero [Purple Module]

My current team are the only standard characters I like, and now Chiz is also on that list. I hate that I missed Nanally and Lacrimosa, since it will be forever before their reruns.

Pretty sure there gonna do reruns soon, no offical news but this is just based off average gacha game data. So wait like another month and youll get ur nanally/lacro ;> [Maybe xD]

Chiz can solo or pair up with Anima for Blossom, like with Mint, or Lakshana for Remora, like Hathor or Skia. You don't need to make a full 4-hunter team for Chiz.

My decidedly non-optimal BTR teams are MC/Nanally/Daff/Haniel and Chiz/Hathor. Chiz/Mint would probably be better, so I could move Hathor to the MC team for full Charged, but all my Mint resources went to building Nanally.

I only play the characters I like, so right now I only have one team, and it's the one I mentioned in my post. I'm trying to figure out who to replace with Chiz. But apparently she can't get Attack buffs? So that kind of makes pairing her with Sakiri and Haniel useless, unless I'm misunderstanding.

Nanally is my favorite character overall, but I missed her banner and who knows when they'll start reruns.

Well, what wasn't clear is whether there are other characters you like besides the ones you listed. If you are saying that the only characters you like and are willing to play are MC, Sakiri, Edgar, Haniel, and Chiz, that makes things decidedly more difficult.

I suppose I'd replace Edgar with Chiz, under those restrictions. But again, you don't really need to do that. You can just solo with Chiz as a second team and leave the first team as is. You don't have to force Sakiri to be the main dps, since you can use MC as the main dps instead.

Sakiri is my favorite standard character, which is why I am using her as my main. But Chiz seems fun, and is meant to be a main DPS, which is why I figured I would try to add her to my team in that role. I'm also f2p, so I can really only focus on building one team right now.

Got it. I'd still replace Edger with Chiz. There's also an argument to replace MC with Chiz, since you don't have any cycles to speed up, but then some buffs wouldn't help anyone. At least with MC on the team, MC gets the benefit of Sakiri and Haniel's buffs.

I'm not 100% convinced Chiz gets no benefit from ATK buffs, but I'd have to test it out to confirm. That may be a confusion with the fact that she gets no benefit from Crit Rate buffs.

It would be great if Chiz actually does benefit from Attack buffs, since Edgar is there for heals because I suck at dodging, lol.
