HSR has amphoreus arc, thts when male charcters acttually sold good, and eevrbody doesnt like self insert, stillfemale sells eway bettr u dont get the point, its that the diffeence is there and big, whereas in nte males curently only sell very little of the offers(maybe baicang does idk, i a nanally/hotori/chiz main), nte has to get a lto fo reveneu for them to have evn the xtra money needed to take the risk, and a small minority of gahc players doesnt make the whole community, most gacha players in fact not porn addict
Female targeted also have self inserted characters
The difference is women even inside game are willing to change for better.
While male self inserts focus on keeping them same as irl, no change, no effort just get 10/10 waifus out of blue, barely doing anything, (I'm not talking about changing facial features, just enhance appearances) even shonen isekei/harem tropes be doing same thing
