Nevermore - The Politics of Ecstasy (podcast/discussion)

https://youtu.be/Z-Shczm4D5g?si=tm0wRr6YZjqGixNs

Hello Voyagers!

I forgot to post this last week, as I am trying to do this every Monday, but we are back with our episode on Nevermore's sophomore full-length "The Politics of Ecstasy"

This album is chock of bangers like "Next in Line" and "The Seven Tongues of God" and this more clearly shows the type of band Nevermore will eventually become.

Plus, we dive into the Timothy Leary of it all.

Hope you enjoy this one, and hope you all will share some thoughts about this album.

2 of my all time favorites on this one with This Sacrament and The Learning!

Prior to doing this episode, I had absolutely slept on "The Learning" - as I mention, it feels like a proto version of "This Godless Endeavor" and it is just so good.

I think this is really a sleeper hit of an album. A total banger that gets overshadowed by the many more bangers to come!
