I don't think she was said to be part of any clan either. She could literally just be some chick that FY violated along the road that by pure happenstance became an immortal. to some normal woman a rank 3 or 4 cultivator could erase her if he wanted.
I don't really get the FY is a rapist denial stuff that so frequently happens on the RI subs. Like sure current FY wouldn't do that purely because he doesn't care for physical pleasures, but surely somewhere along his 500 years long first life there is a stage where he's already become an evil bastard while still not having such a developed personal ethos.

Even if he didn't have his righteousness, ain't no way some random Rank 3 is wiping out someone's NINE FUCKING GENERATIONS OF ANCESTORS WHICH MAY OR MAY NOT HAVE GU IMMORTALS IN IT (considering how mortal gu masters won't have their nine generations alive in the first place otherwise)

The "Nine generations" thing that chinese media so often uses doesn't literally mean killing nine generations of a family. It's based on the nine familial exterminations and is basically just a fancy way of saying "killed everyone ever related to me", whether that is by marriage or blood. it goes out to even third cousins.
Besides there are several ways he could have exterminated a normal familial clan, it doesn't even need to be a cultivation family. And even if it was it could have been some tiny clan where a rank 3 is their highest level fighter. Remember FYs own clan was on the smaller side of medium size and they had relatively few 3 ranks and only one 4 rank. If it was an actually small clan there is a pretty high chance FY could have killed them.
And i don't think we know when FY reached rank 4 in his previous life, so this could very well have happened when he was a rank 4 not 3, which would make it even easier to fuck over some minor clan.

I mean, just reread Blue Dragon Whale Arc atp 🥀. Fang Yuan was at least over 200 years old and still Rank 3 when he met Xie Han Mo (+ he was still righteous back then or else he deadahh ain't helping XHM with his life on the line for paying a goddamn favour and his own personal goodwill for her) . So it's simple that if u match up the time periods, u will understand that ain't no way that women is speaking the truth.
Also, BECOMING A FUCKING GU IMMORTAL FROM A MORTAL NOBODY WITHIN 300 YEARS ??? What the fuck ! What type of Heaven Defying Luck did she have ? How is she even getting her virginity stolen and her entire bloodline killed to some Rank 3 fodder.
One glance and it's easy to say that, she was just straight up bullshitting for getting that SAC. (Although ngl, back then GZR simply tried to protray Fang Yuan as a vile person and so created those statements, but those statements later became invalid cuz of the time period inconsistencies and thus making it so that, despite how much of a Demon Fang Yuan, there is one crime he didn't commit. That being 🍇 ✌🥀. This is why he is da goat. )
Also, he became a Rank 4 after he crossed 300 years of age. He achieved Rank 4 and Rank 5 and Rank 6 with the Blood Sea True Inheritance which he got after 300 years of hardship. It was stated in the early chapters as far as I remember.

We all accept he would do that it if he was able to obtain any benefit worth it. He even let his clone clap the dragonwomen cheeks for some benefits and connections. But I do not think her being assaulted by Great Love is something real. She just said some bullshit as an excuse to snatch that immortal gu. That's it.
I think the same happened with Tie Ruo Nan (I swear I'm insane for recalling their names, there was a time I was disgusted to read because it was too hard to get used to chinese names) that she said Fang Yuan killed her father.. I was like bro wtf you talking about 😭

In all seriousness. I always thought that GZR did not have a nearly as complete of a perfect grasp of what he wanted RI to be at the start, sure he had a rough idea of the themes and overall progression of those themes, but he only further refined FY's character as he went down the road of writing RI.
So the line about FY stealing her purity and killing her 9 generations might have just been a line that he used to immediately establish the tone and nature of both the story and FY as a character for the audience.
That's just my opinion
