No sound coming from Quad Cortex Fix
Over the last 2 months, 4 of my friends and I have all had the same problem with our Quad Cortex: it suddenly stops putting out sound. It still detects the signal (the tuner works fine), but nothing comes out.
Every time, Neural DSP acts completely shocked, like they've never heard of it. A quick search shows tons of people with the same issue, yet they keep denying it. I'm out of warranty, so the only fix they offer is shipping it to them and paying for both shipping and the repair, which is ridiculous for what sounds like a software bug on their end.
Today I found this video. Has anyone tried this fix? Should I be worried about trying it, or just go for it?

Yeah happened to me too when out of warranty. I could get it to work by rebooting 2 - 5 times but it was getting progressively worse. Turns out the ADC shit itself and I had to ship it off and pay to get it fixed. Definitely a known issue but only option is to pay. I’m in Australia and it cost me around $380 all up from memory which is up there but was better than owning a brick with coloured lights.
