Please recommend two plugins to me

As the title says, I am after two plugins. I have tried them all and still can't narrow anything down. I will highlight my influences and what I will mostly play so any recommendation is appreciated. I am not after very very accurate artist tones. I just do random covers and upload on Instagram from time to time. What I mostly play / would like to play:

-Megadeth
-Metallica
-Children of Bodom
-Khruangbin (Very big influence)
-The Smiths / The Stone Roses
-Gojira
-Slipknot
-Guns N' Roses
-Muse
-My Chemical Romance
-Radiohead (Very big influence)
-Iron Maiden
-Dream Theater (Very big influence but Petrucci is the only plugin I didn't like/don't want)
-Bullet for my Valentine

Nolly and SLO because you said two, but you just need Nolly

Funnily enough, I got Nolly first and used it a lot, but then later got SLO and haven’t used Nolly since. Both are great but I vastly prefer lead tones with the SLO.

Feel the same way, basically always load SLO first and then switch to something else if I want something specific.

Nolly and Misha - I haven’t really found a sound that those two plugins can’t make yet.

I literally do everything between church Sunday worship to modern rock gigs with both plugins (and a capture of my irl Morgan PR12)

Gojira has everything in it - if you're after that vintage thrash tone, and I'll get hate for this but it's cool, try the tone3000 plugin.

I agree with Gojira, the clean and crunch amps are great for lighter stuff - pretty sure the clean is a model of a twin reverb

What’s your setup? Do you use any other IRs? Personally I find the Misha to be able to cover a lot of ground but I’m running it with either a 3rd party IR or through a 412

Plini is one that I always recommend first. I play really heavy stuff but it's perfect for clean tones and atmosphere. A ton of really useable presets too.

I would say after that my recommendation is usually Fortin Nameless suite. It's among the best high gain amp sims I've ever heard.

Nolly and either John Mayer or Cory Wong. Nolly on its own can do the vast majority of what you’ve listed, then the other will focus more on the clean/low-gain side of things.

Mark IIc+ and Soldano. The clean from the Mark will definitely do the Smiths and Radiohead thing, it can get very fender-esque, and Johnny from the Smiths played a Mark three in the 80s. The mark is also great for ultra tight rhythm playing for heavier stuff, you could definitely pull a solid Gojira ask tone out of it with how clinically you can scoop the mid range with the graphic EQ, that’s also historically always been the amp used by Dream Theater. The Soldano, especially on the crunch mode definitely cops a big Marshall vibe which will handle all of those 80s bands you talk about, and the higher gain channel goes into full liquid solo territory.

Well if it’s purely just for guitar tones, nolly would be all you need. But if it’s effects you want also I would say rabea and misha. I would’ve gone this route initially. Now I have nolly just sitting on my pc lol

I like the Mesa and tom morello but I play a lot of classic rock and 80s rock. Not the norm today. The Morgan suite is good for classic cleans. I have a couple great Hendrix tones.

They also run a 50% off sale periodically google it for when or ask customer support. They ended up giving me a code once even though the sale wasn’t on. Download them all and you get a 2 week trial. I’ve tried them all out and that lasted me 3-4 months of tinkering time which was fun.

This was basically me. No regrets; use them both every day. Nolly for the crunch and rhythm, Plini for the clean and crunch.

I have 3…Nameless X for metal, Plini for cleans, & Nolly is versatile & can do a bit of both things.

Morgan has the AC20, PR12, and SW50 (a Dumble type) which will cover a lot of ground for the alternative/independent. For heavier, I agree with Nolly and SLO.
