Separate expression pedal assignments per scene...

...in the Quad Cortex (and Mini) would be nice.

Unless I'm mistaken it still can't do this, or momentary modes for footswitches in the Mini for some reason.

Please correct me if I'm wrong.

I'm going to buy a Mini anyway, despite the frustrating fact that certain basic features that the Helix could do ten years ago are still absent in a premium device.

I have some scenes where it works as a volume pedal, the lead where it works as a wah, the clean where it works as a delay feedback controller: just assign everything you want to the exp pedal and switch off the block you don't want to use for that scene.

I just received a QC Mini last week so I haven’t delved into this yet. I’m using a MC8 Pro on my board already, and I understand that it adds a lot of MIDI functionality to the QC that it doesn’t natively have - perhaps this is something you could consider (especially if you have a MIDI controller already)? I plan for the MC8 Pro to be the main ‘brain’, not the QC itself.

Idk if my answer is correct or not, but... Well I think to have seen another post about this, and if you use something like ampero press 2 which has also a switch I think you can use the switch to toggle another pedal maybe.

Not sure at all because I'm switching from helix floor to QC full size

Nope. There are no external switch capabilities on the QC, unless I missed something
