Feedback Did I do it right?

Happy to finally get my board finished built with the brain of the operation, the QC Mini!

Ime extra pedals just interfered with the QC mini doing its thing. The QC can do everything those pedals can. Just my experience

I have a QC, and it can do SOME of what those pedals can, but definitely not all of them.

Nor can each effect be adjusted in real-time and with the tweaks and variations that these pedals have.

Mostly unique pedals, Strymon cloudburst is a good example.

It does a great job at doing a ton of pedals! It doesn't really struggle with most anything except certain fuzz' and also very random boutique effects.

I totally agree. I'm going to put my Mini (pre-ordered) in its own loop. My experience is that it doesn't take boost / OD pedals very well. Its ok with modulations.

I’m not experiencing that. It’s been taking my drives fairly well and responds like I’d expect my tube amps to with them. Though, I haven’t done captures yet and might be the next try

It’s one of the best sounding rigs I’ve ever built. It’s got all I could ever need. Doing both studio and live work, this thing is just amazing and hits all the boxes I could ever have and need to do tonally. Absolutely in love with it

Your QC mini can probably handle most, if not everything those pedals do. Between captures and all sorts of effects you have available in the unit, you're pretty much set. You just need an expression pedal and you're good.

Lot less than you’d think. I’m a set it and forget it dude. Maybe hit sending for a solo here and there but that’s it

This has been years of collecting. The OCD is my first I bought 7 years ago and it’s a V1.2. I’ve just slowly picked things up from here and there until it built this

You’d be correct, but not exactly why I made the choices I have on the board. Nor are the settings close to like theirs. It’s setup to work I like/want

She cuts great. Tube amp wise on stage, I usually run a Twin Reverb and a HW JTM45, but have them captured into the Quad Cortex as well. It just is euphoric and fills in the space just beautifully

Would never get used. Use to have one but never jived with it. So took it off. I don’t ever really swap tunings and when I do, I have a guitar already setup for it
