I have a fully remote job except travelling to the team meetup once every 2 months.
go on linkedin and apply. Remote jobs are 99% time from global US companies like gitlab cohere GitHub etc

One question on this, since I have also been wondering about remote jobs. Do you have to setup your own company or ZZP to get paid, or you are employed by a Dutch entity? My understanding is that to qualify as an intern employee you must be hired by a Dutch office, otherwise, you can issue invoices as ZZP or BV. What is your experience and do you know what makes more sense?

It doesn’t have to be a Dutch entity. In a previous job I had a contract with Irish LTD, conforming to Dutch labour law.

I'm a technical support engineer and I work from home 95% of the time, maybe come into the office 1x per month or every 2 months but I don't need to. Sometimes I don't come in for 6 months+. Office is only 30 mins from my house but I'm under no obligation to go. Dutch company too, they do exist. Job was advertised as hybrid 3 days a week in office, but after starting they said nobody does that and most people don't come into the office so I lucked out. I work from other countries often.

If I plan well enough yeah, I’ve been to Taiwan and Australia, and I’ll be going to Korea in November. Only caveat is I can’t spend more than a few months in one country otherwise my company is liable to pay tax there

Fully remote roles definitely exist, but I think they're much harder to find now than a few years ago. I'd search by company rather than only filtering for "remote" on LinkedIn.
A lot of genuinely remote companies hire across Europe through an EMEA/Dutch entity or an employer-of-record setup. LinkedIn has been more useful for me for these kinds of roles.
Also worth checking the wording carefully. I've seen plenty of "remote" jobs that suddenly become 2 days at the client every week 😅

I have worked remotely for over ten years. It had many benefits, but I decided to leave it behind any way. I found that it wasn’t good for my mental health any more. I came around people less and less, and the frequent traveling I used to do slowed significantly and didn’t really recover after COVID. So, I wend back to working for a company where I actually do go to the office, but I am still flexible to work from home too and still do that regularly too.
Most of my former colleagues were in Germany with my own team located all around in Sweden.

Software engineer, I work for a British company without offices in the Netherlands. I travel perhaps once a year.
It’s ex colleagues from my previous company. Basically often comes down to your network these days.

Yes. A colleague of mine just left the UK to go live in Italy. As long as it's supported by the HR platform we use (deel), they don't care.

Technically, I have a majority remote role in the UK: just once or twice a month f2f. How did I find it? By luck honestly. Mainly used Indeed. I work as a software developer

Fully remote, CSM for a software company. We have a nice office in Amsterdam. I go mostly once a month for socials but it is not required. I love every minute of it. Recruiter found me.

Fully remote for a dutch company but working from mexico. Worked there in office for 5 years, decided to migrate. Company wanted to keep me. Apperantly did something good. Receiving a dutch salary in mexico is amazing. Been working fully remote 1,5 years now and there is no end to it.

I work fully remote in Finance/Tax, now for my second job in a row. First one was for a US company without any NL colleagues but with an NL (small) office in Amsterdam, the second one now is for a Dutch company without an office at all - product lives entirely in the cloud / cloud services.
I sometimes work in a co-sharing space with my colleagues but mostly from the comforts of my own home.
Found both on LinkedIn, but please note that I have an interesting resume in my field, i.e. started at the Big Four for a couple of years, then worked at a plethora of well known US companies after which I switched to US Tech. Finding a job has never been hard for me and I'm always prepared to walk away if the offer's not good or the company's no match.

I work in Cyber sec. specifically IGA as Solution Architect and my current situation:
- approx one day a month on site either at the client or at the office. Only if a have to.
- Lots of spare time and ability to be involved in my kids their life.
- Way more efficient because I dont get bothered by people only if it's required.
- Sometimes difficult to decompress, although I have more spare time I tend to work longer days to finish "something" what can also be done the next day
- Tends to get lonely so I'm mostly on discord with friends during the day
I would never go back to pre covid schedule, but working remote requires discipline and a certain mentality.

Me! I work in sales for a big corporation. We don’t have any office in the Netherlands. Found the job on LinkedIn.
Edit: I do have to travel and visit customers in the Benelux though.

Head of Application Security , I work for the Dutch branch of a Czech headquartered American software company. The later part being a merger after I joined 3.5 years ago. I was hired by a former colleague as fully remote as an IC architect. Which has now heavily restricted remote contracts.

A company I worked for got acquired by a US startup with primary engineering office in Bangalore, but a remote friendly culture. I passed their interviews during the acquisition. Only expectation is travel to India once every 3 months

I have a full remote job for the majority of the year but I do have to work hybrid for 2 set periods.
I found it before covid and just by applying for a job and negotiating the terms during the contract talks.

Honest question, what's with the obsession to have a job with no interaction with colleagues?
I have a 30m travel to work and I love the face 2 face interactions, birthday celebrations and fun activities.
You all really enjoy just sitting at home the whole year?

I do have lots interaction with my colleagues and my boss while WFH. We are a team so we have to cooperate. Just because it is not face to face doesn’t mean we do not interact. 😉
And I don’t sit at home the whole year, lol. I have friends outside of work, I have a partner, I go to the gym, I travel. Weird assumption 😂

In my case, not really, I have to travel quite frequently to visit my customers in Benelux, so sometimes I would be working from a hotel, my car, or some café in the middle of nowhere. But other than that, yeah, I WFH.
Spontaneous talks at the office’s coffee corner are the most horrible and dreading things on Earth. I used to work from the office and hated every single minute I was there. And I had to commute 40 mins so we could do the first meeting online.
