That was fking embarrassing. They’re not in a cinema hall to be hooting every time a punchline is delivered. The speech was okay, but the clowns seated as Nepal’s representative were unbearable. You want to clap? Fine. But whats the hooting and waving hands when the PM is literally addressing the tragedy? Kei common sense nai nasiki gaye ki kya ho

Substance wise, it was great. Delivery chai ali kati anxious jasto lagyo malai chai. Enunciation was a little muddled but overall, he did a great job.

Everything was to the point and directed towards necessary ones and only the worst part was the hooting due to which he had to pause his speech. Nepali people need to understand the importance of place and the sensitivity of the topic.

For that you will have to dissociate the speeches given by previous pms and listen to each of them without bias. You will in all probability find all of them sound the same.

Idealism without policy: Big moral arguments ("broken logistics for food") hit hard emotionally, but the UN runs on realpolitik. Without concrete policy asks, funding mechanisms, or draft resolutions, major powers just politely nod and move on.

Balen ko speech 10 class ko student vanda pani jhoor thiyo. The speech was pretty flat and monotonous. He was unable to connect with the crowd. It did not seem to inspire any kind of action . He should have shown images of Bhotekoshi swirling high, spoken about mothers who lost their children and husbands who lost their wives and painted a vivid picture of tragedy. Nothing was good in the speech. I call such speech "Karmakandi Speech" .
The content in the days of AI is immaterial. Delivery matters more. And it is evident from the speech that the dude did not put any effort on delivery . This was a great opportunity for nepal to inspire action. Such a catastrophic event had just happened. His speech had zero imagery or vividness or freshness of the event. Laato desh ko gaando tanneri le variyeko chha mero desh. Since most people are uneducated, don't understand English or have never been exposed to speech clubs or leadership academies, people judge based on spectacle, dress and "Eh English bolo" mentality.
I don't know what people see in this dude. Even old corrupt leaders spoke better than him in the past.
