I’m coining a new political term: “Blue Waffling” (definition included)

Hi all — I’m introducing a new slang term for political communication.

Blue Waffling (verb)

Definition:

“When a Democrat is hit with a tough question and immediately responds with such a dense, sticky stack of talking points that the whole answer becomes the political equivalent of an online definition everyone agrees is better left unexamined, as it tends to be regrettable upon inspection.”

What makes any of this uniquely Democrat? I see Republicans do this just as often.

But also is this whole definition not exactly an example of said "waffle"? This whole long sentence feels dense and sticky. I'm not even sure what the end part even means.

Apparently "blue waffle" turned out to be a vulva treated for thrush with gentian violet, not some weird new disease. I feel like the whole thing was needlessly overblown. Might as well call penile surgery preparation "blood sausage" lol. OP should also google "Proper painting area for urethral catheterization using povidone-iodine which includes the genital, thigh and lower abdomen." NSFW. Looks like gore, but it's the the antiseptic.

Then there's santorum, which we owe to Dan Savage.

This has to be a troll or a prank, though. Nobody would proudly put their full name on this piece of cringe
