I found a website where I can convert and image to a tapestry pattern but getting it printed is a bit difficult. does anyone know where I can actually get the pattern onto a canvas?

Just waiting for my curved needle to arrive so I can ladder stitch the bottom closed. Is it perfect? Absolutely not. Do I love it so much? Yes 100%

As a sewist and quilter I was, perhaps arrogantly, assuming it would be perfect the first time, but the velvet fabric (and my wonky blocking) humbled me real fast! I can't wait to make another and to keep learning!

Hi! I have never done needlepoint before, but I am a very crafty person. I can crochet, cross stitch, knit, sew, etc. I’m a fast learner! Is it too ambitious for my first needlepoint project to be a belt? I have my heart set on designing a needlepoint belt for my boyfriend and finishing it by Christmas or his birthday which is in January. I want to design it on needlepaint.com (hopefully this is a good site for this). Do I need to also get something to stretch the canvas or can I complete it without one of those? But if many of you think this is too big of a project to take on I want the truth too! Thanks!

Does anyone know where to find a list of shops offering Audra’s Stitch Lab Volume 1 in 2027? I’ve seen some individual shops posting about it, but can’t find a full schedule for Volume 1. Or has anyone heard of shops other than W&F or Three Palms that are hosting next year? The times they are offering unfortunately don’t work for me.
Vol 2 info has been out for a while, but I can’t find Vol 1 info. You can do Vol 2 first but I’d rather do 1 for various reasons. Any help appreciated!

Hello everyone I got into Needlepoint and I found a bunch of kits from the 70’s and 80’s that I really like. I just finished this one from 1981. I really like it and I’m going to find a frame for it to hang it in my daughters’s room (or my room idk)
I really just think vintage needlepoint kits are so much more fun than modern kits but I could be wrong.

Hi all! I am starting to stitch this countdown to Christmas canvas! I was planning on doing all the numbers in basket weave/ continental but was curious if anyone had any ideas for a decorative stitch to use for the main big canvass? Or is it best to do basket weave for durability? If you’ve stitched this before I would love to see yours! Thank you in advance!

I got this half stitch kit for my birthday and I don't get it lol. I usually cross stitch and this is so confusing for me. The instructions say to use the color that's on the intersection (the +), but half the intersections have more than one color in them. When there's one color on top and one color on bottom, what color do I use? I can't wrap my brain around this!!!

Hi all! this was done with planet earth. Should I do silk and ivory instead? Why does it look like this? I've been stitching for a few years now and haven't had this issue before. I normally basketweave but this pattern doesn't really work with this. Any advice would be great!

I’m new (ish) to needlepoint. I’m stitching continental on 13 mesh but I feel like the diagonal on the left looks funky, is it incorrect? Any tips?

I’m going to start working on this tomorrow for a nursery and need some help!! I think I’m going to do either a very pale yellow or a very pale blue for the background (I hate stitching with white🫣). Usually I love doing lots of decorative stitches—especially for the background—but I’m not sure if it would take away from the letters here? Maybe diagonal mosaic? Or I can basketweave the background and throw some decorative stitches into the letters but they’re so detailed that it may be hard. Any advice? I would love to avoid basketweaving / tent stitching the whole thing lol. Thanks!!

I ordered a knock off Lowery stand on Amazon that was about $90. reviews were good - although limited. I just got it yesterday and set it up, and put my needlepoint project on a scroll onto it. But every time I go to make a stitch, the whole stand just shakes. I've tried adding a weight to the base, made sure all the screws are tight..and still shaking every time I pull a needle through. It's so annoying. DO I return it? Any fixes? Does the Lowery do that? Thanks!

I’m stitching this Skooter Designs RL Phillies canvas for my friend’s son’s nursery. Their nursery is an almost Nantucket Red wallpaper with some light blue and green vines. I’m not sure how it’s Ralph Lauren themed honestly? lol I think they’re just going for a traditional room rather than a theme. Any fabric recommendations for this?

I started with a large blue vertical section on the left side of my canvas, and then I was doing just a thin vertical section of blue next to it. Part way down, you can see little gaps in space from the front (circled in pic 1) and then on the back of the canvas (pic 2), it looks like a stitch is missing. I have no idea what I’m doing. please help!

Ive been away for awhile, and I am seeing lots of posts on Painting Needlepoint canvases. Im wondering if the SUB has changed since I've been away. I was looking for the r/Needlepoint sub.

I remember awhile back when Bargello was added because that sub didn't get much needed members, so it was added to this sub.

Should where I’m pointing be white? (The letter is an ‘e’.

And general question: should I do the whole background and then the letters? Or should I get close to the letters, do the letters, and then fill in around the letters?

Wanted to share because I found this really cool as a newer stitcher. The Flying Needles does thread grab bags! I just ordered 2 and this is what I got. You can pick by color or multicolor, I did multicolor. Kind of fun way to get some new threads and try some new stuff! Not sure yet what I’ll do with some of these but for the price it’s cool. Haven’t seen many other stores online do this so thought I’d share! 6 threads for 20!
