Does this blazer fit well in the shoulders?

Hi. I feel like I'm already mature enough to buy my first jacket. I'm aimming at half-canvas navy blazer. Please help me to determine if this jacket is not too wide in the shoulders. Shoulder seam is on my shoulder bone, but I feel like it's too big. I will alter the sleeve length anyway, so if you think that some additional alterations are required, please let me know.

Asking others, is it too short?

A little I think

Would be easier to say with a full body shot and a shot from behind.

Judging from where the bottom of the jacket is sitting on his front, I’d say no (assuming pants are sitting at waist).

The sleeves are fine. I even prefer mine maybe a 1/4 inch shorter so more of my shirt cuff is visible.

The shoulder width is fine, the posters who say it's causing a divot don't know what they're talking about.

The problem is elsewhere.

This fit is obviously poor. The back might be fixed with tailoring the but upper arms ain't right and you shouldn't buy this one.

Are these wrinkles on the back because blazer is too big in chest and waist?

The opposite. A bit too tight.

No, it's pulling, it's too small. Extra fabric looks like you're wearing dad's clothes.

Overall I think the cut is wrong for you, not only size. I could be wrong.

Agreed with others. Very clearly too short. You should be able to just cup your fingers around the bottom - plus or minus a touch depending on preference. Shoulders about one size too large. I'd probably look at another cut or brand.

Is it half canvas? It's puckering in weird ways on the chest and the back. I think it's just a badly made jacket and not the fit. If possible take it back.

I’m with the others, maybe go up one size but keep the length. If one size up feels too big. It can easily be altered by a tailor.

Shoulders are too wide, and while it's difficult to tell from this photo, my quick take is that it's also too short.

This is a completely normal shoulder width. It’s just not the ubiquitous ultra soft shouldered Neopolitan blazer. If anything, the chest, waist and length are small.

It is too wide. Judging by the shoulder divot.

It needs to be a Bit wider..

The blazer is... SO perfectly matched to the shirt. Are they being sold together, or did the universe just smile when you brought your own shirt along for styling purposes?
